I'm more concerned why they decided to release in first place. Was it shareholders? I think CDPR should buy stock back and become privately owned again to avoid having same issue ever again.

They are right about one thing though, I will not pre-order anymore before just because of reputation of a company. At the end of the day, it's still a corporation and business and will betray you at any moment. You don't even need to play this game to get its theme.

The biggest things for me are:

1. Fix the game balance. You get so powerful that the game gets boring if you create any kind of coherent character build.
2. Fix the endings, they just aren't satisfying.
3. Fix the various technical issues.

I picked more DLCs but I'm only explicitly interested in Act 3 or post ending story content.

I only want more gritty Night City stories. If its set in Nevada or space, post-game, it's not something I'll be interested in. Night City is the story.

3. Fix the various technical issues.

Frankly, I think 3 trumps all. Don't focus or think about doing anything until these are done.

Many games last for far longer than their original cycle.

Take care of Problem A and then move on to asking for more content.

Eidios Montreal had the STUPID idea to try to make a Live Service of Mankind Divided as their focus and forgot to make a game people wanted to play. As such, all of their plans went up in smoke because no one gave a shit about the multiplayer.

dont care much about the bug fixes
for me there arent a lot of that disturp me
i would like a better acting AI
and that it will get harder

i whant story DLCs like Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine
and maybe some quality of life addons

the good thing..
so manye haters will be gone by then because of refund or just because they did say they leave

The fact there was no explanation for the clearly cut content and broken features that go far beyond simple bugs, was rather disappointing.

I personally don't agree, because the game is perfectly playable for me but just doesn't have any bite and doesn't end in a satisfying way. For people who can't play the game at all technical issues obviously have priority though.

With exception of a few game crashes I almost dont even notice most bugs that much.
I then refer to bugs where a character may Tpose, items cant be picked up sometimes or some weird pathing.
The game runs surprisingly well on my PS4, despite what I hear.
I go for more DLC because option 3 is out of the question, 4 can be 2 aswell as 1 ;)
But I care most for what we currently dont have yet... The remainder of the story and side quests.

Stuck with Bethesda from Morrowind and all the way up til F4. I honestly dont give a shit about the "bugs".

What i want is the interactive and responsive world they have been flaunting around for years now.
Meaningful choices, consequences for your actions and for the love of god, stop this romance nonsense. I get that COVID has given you all blue balls and Waffles, but its a game company, not a porn studio.
Speak for yourself, getting down and dirty is fun. I would like if its not a one off thing with whichever person I choose (should be an option for hookups with people you romanced after the initial hookup..I mean, we can do joytoys endlessly, but the person we want we get only once? come on now!)

As far as the rest, while I do indeed care about bugs (especially quest breaking bugs), they aren't first and foremost on my mind. I am on board with the meaningful interactions with NPCs, pedestrians, etc etc.
Honestly, they need to just release a mod kit for PC users so we can start overhauling night city..even if its informal channels (surely some devs over at CDPR can get together and toss something out under the radar that'll let us tinker with or add things like animations, script hooks, etc...any heroes reading this?)

This video, this appeal, ruined my mood in the morning.
All videos and all questions for answers are devoted to consoles and bugs. They constantly talk about how the game will work well on consoles, that it will soon be back on consoles, that there will be patches for the next generation consoles soon. And they seem to pretend that THIS IS THE ONLY PROBLEM OF THE GAME!

Not a word about the fact that the game came out unfinished in terms of content. About cut features. About false advertising. About the fact that only 50% of what was promised. All this does not seem to exist! There are only performance issues on consoles.
Nobody cares about the console anymore. The players have some really important questions - where is half the game?

Imagine whole DLC done in a locked down mega building or corporation. All 100 floors accessible with different routes and NPC companions. Kinda like newest Judge Dredd movie

word. The bugs will get fixed eventually. I've played the game on base PS4 from day one and the improvements have been very visible even with the first patch. I didn't really experience many terrible bugs either. I never expected the technical issues no to get fixed. And as soon as Sony finally get their shit together and more PS5s will be available, the old gen problem will go away anayways.

But what about the content? Can they please acknowledge that players complain about more than the technical issues? That the endings the way they are right now have made the game really hard to replay for many of us becuae they are confusing and depressing? That the story cuts at times are glaring? What about their expansion rodamap? Where ist it? When will it be published? What will the free DLCs and patches contain apart from bug fixes and performance patches? Please don't say more cars and guns...

I think the technical issues are, for a lot of people, a much more prevalent issue than story tweaks that will require a lot more effort to fix and essentially do require DLC to add to.

I also don't think they're going to change the Lifepaths, Jackie's Montage, or the Endings.

They might add New Endings but the simple fact is that any content that requires replaying or is only going to be experienced by a minority of players versus all players is going to be given less focus.

@OP This is how I felt as soon as I saw the video. Owning up and saying sorry is nothing unless it's backed up by action. It's understandable that CDPR want to fix the bugs first and foremost but I can't help with feeling let down by the game we were given compared to what we were promised. I will wait to see what the "DLC" has in store but the current state of the game and what I purchased the game on - is not there. It concerns me that they are already talking about "beyond Cyberpunk" even before they have given the game any substantial work in just over the month since release.
I'm enjoying cyberpunk at the moment and have clocked a small 120hrs in my spare time - don't get me wrong but I'm shocked at how the game was released in it's current state especially considering how many people were working on the game.
In order to gain back our trust, I think CDPR need to be clear and engage frequently with the community.
But I'm not holding my breath.
