Yeah, I love that view. I created a thread some time ago with the same exact request. If a full zoom in/out (with some locked limitations naturally) is not possible at last give us the possibility to change from two-three camera sets pressing a button (a la GTA), with one of them having the "behind the shoulder" camera angle as when overencumbered. Another good view, imo, is the one in the VGX trailer that's a middle ground between behind the shoulders and behind complete figure (something like the end of the screen to the knees/middle thigh).

Naturally a full zoom in/out with a lock on position would be the best of the best, but since it would take more time I would easily set with the above solution. Assuming three different camera angles: one as now, one middle ground and one behind the shoulders. It would be already perfect and it would take really little time to do as two of the camera sets already exist and the middle ground would be quite easy to do (but even if that's not possible at last give us a possibility between the default and behind the shoulder encumbered view).

Pleeeeease ;)

Yeah. I used CE to do it myself but it's not the same thing. You have to change both the FOV and angle and the settings in game are clearly not adjusting to it (as it happens when you use witcher senses or you are encumbered) and when you get on Roach the camera, naturally, doesn't adjust back,, In short: using CE to do the same is practically pointless.

But for CDPR to add an option (as set two/three different cameras by pressing a button - a la GTA) would be really really simple, even more because all those camera angles settings already exist in the game, so they have to do nothing but simply add the possibility to use a button to manually select them.

Let's start a petition on Change.org! ;)

Hoped that we might see some camera options in the 1.05 patch, nevermind, waiting for camera settings in the next 1.06 ;)

If they actually gave camera options it would be great indeed, somethings tells me they won't though,at least not soon enough

That overburdened camera though is amazing

Yeah, the camera is far too away in my opinion, I like to pay close attention to my character. I really wish for an option to play it like this or zoomed away

Witcher 2 nailed the camera the best imo, wonder why they didn't go with that in 3 in the first place.

I'm using the FOV hack for the moment, the problem with it is when you approach the camera to the same level as the overburdened camera it changes the view distance of normal dialogues. For some reason it gets more far away lol. Please CDPR, add a proper nearer camera, the game have such nice details to be observed from anearer distance.

I agree, wasn't too close, wasn't too far away. Perfect for every situation.

A button to change the zoom like in GTA would've done the trick too...

Would you want it to change for battles? Seems like it would suck if you have enemies behind you!

Yes it would be good if the camera is zoomed out and Geralt is at the center of the screen when during combat (basically the same as it is now), it would be a camera system like in a Batman Arkham series. I would like to be able to choose certain levels of zoom like in a GTA V and also "over the shoulder" (overburdened) type of camera.
