Simon, yes I know what you will say to me.I tried many hours, and the ob_-named things from the key-files will work, no problem. The only problem is to get an own made item template into the inventory of a sign, so that Geralt can pick up this contract. It will be there, when you save it to the module and it can be choosen from the taskbars symbol "create item" and it can be placed somewhere in the area, but and thats the point, I can't reach it to put it in a box that Geralt later has to open to get it (like the sign in front of the tavern where Geralt picks up his contracts). I set "has inventory/true" and i opened the list and there is only the item-named folder not the module folder where D'jinni saved this item, I also can't type it in by hand because D'jinni clears that field as was insert nothing. Thats the real problem.

Ah! I can. I've solved that one.Once you've copied the unbiffed item into your data folder, you can select if from D'Jinni. So you can create your new template. And when you've created your template, the unbiffed file can be deleted from the data folder, and your module will still work.If you need more detail I'll do you a step by step recipe.

Ok, I will try it once again...but have you thought about what I said in the earlier post?
I uninstalled game and Djinni, deleted all unbiffed stuff and all witcher folders. Then I made a totally new install only the game and D'jinni, this time without unbiffing or extracting anything... and there was it, some items I used from m1_module weren't there and also some items I made myself were no longer there.

It runs when you test your game within D'jinni, but it don't run any longer when you test it under the original game. That was one of the problems I had while testing. But I'll give it a try once more... :dead:At this time I try to place items (original and own templates) and every time when I change the area (i.e. go into a house and come out in l24 again) the items are no longer there (in game testing! In D'jinni they are still at its places when testing within D'jinni itself). The long explaining way (only to avoid misunderstanding): I go into that house, all items I have placed are there, I go out to the fields and I went back to that house again, now the items are not longer there. Thats really odd, I changed everything now in the properties to make them stay there, but nothing works.Btw, is your map running now, Simon?

I have email from the Widow this morning that she has it fully working - I'm about to test the version she uploaded last night.

It's not the placeables, I mean the items that Geralt could pick up like a sword or a dagger, I wanted to place some items on the blacksmith's table in house. That things are there when I enter first time, but when I enter second time they are gone on holiday. :'(

Hmm. If you should really be able to pick up this items, you can add a placeable, give it the model name of the item and add a one use script that adds the item to the inventory and destroys the placeable.

Omg, it's an idea, but there must be an easier way for this.

I wounder why you need items that can be picked up unprovoked from this table at all. Does Geralt should be able to steal something?

OK ... many thanks to REDflame and my maps finally work!!!!!!! yeah :)however, now i need something very specific which seems to be missing from the assets that i do have: i need the minimap file (regg35_???.bmp)for the Lionhead Spider Cultists' crypt ... does anyone have that ?it would make my life so very much easier ... otherwise i have to trudge through the crypt at least a half a dozen times not to mention block up a bunch of areas i was intending to use.

There are no placeables for weapons and I want to have a table at the blacksmith filled with some weapons, so I have to use items instead.

There are no .tga files for those minimaps in, but the game will find it for the regions, I don't know where those .tga-files are, but they will work when you enter the area. When you make your startpoint i.e. in one of those houses you will have no minimap, but when you enter it from somewhere else, then it is there (this one from the village in this case). There are some really odd things and it's no fun to search for all this. :dead:

There are. You just have to add a random placeable (I recommend something that is not influenced by gravity, like the blocker) at your area and change its model name to the items name. The pictures of the appearances with the corresponding model names I made may be useful.

Aha, very much thanks, Nayava, I will check this out. It's really horrible for a newbie to find all that things out and do a good mod with D'jinni.Today I fumbled with that sounds, there are so many unusual polish sounds, I will never get ready with sorting them out.

Yes NayAva, I have all of your files and refer to them constantly :) thanksUpdate on the map: I do know that regg35_45.bmp is quite a complete minimap, but it's not exactly what i want. What i really want is a minimap that corresponds to this fullmap, which is not exactly what i get with g35_45.bmp can anyone help me out ?

It corresponds when I push it around in my photoprogram, I think thats why the picture has this "Crypt" named title in it, have you tried this in game?

the title is unimportant :)it's the blocked entrances / open entrances that i want .. what happens right now is that the minimap shows exits where i have none, and the full map doesn't reflect the right exit information either

I think we're going to have to edit the actual bitmaps, Widow. Obviously, saving them with our own names.

I know how to edit a bitmap. So do you. I don't know how to get it back into the module after we've edited it, but it can't be hard.

Does anybody know, how I can keep my fireplaces burning all the time, when they are outdoors and its windy? I mean not with a light-fx, otherwise. Also I need a script information about the description of a command that is in polish:
spowoduje wczytanie mapy dla danej lokacji i automagiczne wylaczenie wszystkich
???What I understand from that google translation is:
will cause wczytanie maps for the datas of location and automagiczne wylaczenie all
so it is for the data of those maps, but what will it do automatically (if automagiczne means automatically)?@Nayavathis thing with the items/placeables you explained doesn't work. All I can get with this is a black box. Maybe there is another way, until then my blacksmith will have flowers on his table. ;)
