Easy, about 2 minutes to resume V's arrival in Night City, V become a merc, meet some characters, all of that with help of his/her new buddy, Jackie.
No need to play it to "show" these few events.

Yeah - I disagree.

To me what they did by shortening that part of the story would be the same as making a 2-3 minute video montage of the first part of The Witcher 3 and starting the game entering the Isle of Mists rather than starting in White Orchard.

your point of view - many player would love to play the part so you can't say "storywise no sense" - if it would make the same point than the cutscene itself.
Maybe, but it's not the story that "writers" wanted (like I said, the "story" is not about V which become rich, famous or building a rep) ;)
Just a side note for those who think that it would be cool to build V's rep before receive the call from Dex :
Dex search two gonks ready to do everything possible (even the stupidest heist ever...) to be famous, rich and reach the major league. Indeed, he found these two gonks with V and Jackie.
So Dex search two mercs with no rep :)

THIS. The point wasn't to hire the best. He wanted to hire two gonks who wouldn't be missed afterward. Two gonks he intended to flatline.

What do you mean? That is LITERALLY the story that the writers put together.

Origin > Jackie > Heist > Post-Heist Content > Ending

People are saying they want to play out the Jackie part and push the Heist to Ending part further down the road or shorten it.

As for your simplistic summary you could do that with any game or any story.

"Easy, about 2 minutes to resume V's arrival in Night City, V become a merc, meet some characters, all of that with help of his/her new buddy, Jackie. No need to play it to "show" these few events."

This could easily just be...

"Easy, about 2 minutes to resume Geralt's story, he meets up with some characters, all with the help of his two old love interests, Triss and Yen. No need to play it to "show" these few events."

Because The Witcher 3 is really a story about Geralt finding Ciri and The Wild Hunt, right? So no real need to include all of that other stuff that people absolutely adored about the game and connected you to both the main and side characters.

its not about getting the best before the heist lol - its about having some fun with jacky exploring the city and first steps in merc business. jesus its like you just dont want to see - what others would see in playing this part...

But reputation comes with skill. No name — no skill. No skill — surety of fail, which means no money and Arasaka's katana in stomach. Doubt Dex intended to fail.

ACO : Until you meet the Wolf of Sparte, I agree, no urgence. But after, yes. You must find you mother and your brother which are, against all odds and years, in live and under the threat of the Cult. So find them and following the main quest seem to be way more important and urgent than any possible other side quests... like helping a dude to find a random item in a camp for example... But I have no problem to help this dude.
Player pretty quickly learns the wereabouts and state of sibling (and that while somewhat crazy, is not in immediate danger) and furthermore, that the Cult is nowhere near reaching Eagle Bearer's mother, so no, noone is really in any immediate danger. It's more of protagonist's urge to find their lost family than needing to save them.
Skyrim : You know rather quickly that Alduin (the destructor of worlds) is about to destroy the "world" and you're the only one who can stop him. So it's quite urgent too I believe, at least if you care a little about Skyrim.
Player learns about Alduin and him raising dragons around 7th quest in MQ, before which there are at least 3 good oportunities to postopone MQ till later time.

Not necessarily. It was supposed to be a simple klep job. Get in, steal the thing, get out. A simple job that anyone could do. Dex didn't predict that Yorinobu would flatline his own dad and the hotel would get put in lockdown.

who said dex wanted to kill the mercs? Why ruin his own reputation as a fixer? There's no hint of this in the whole game. He simply panics, kills V and throw their body in the dump without taking the chip.
That's just my interpretation. Could be wrong, but it seemed like he planned to double-cross them, hence hiring two nobodies that had little to no reputation. People no one would miss if they went missing theoretically.

then such a miserable planner he was. Which he was indeed.
Klept of epic corporate artefact is by definition not a job for rookies. And have no plans for, i dunno, Yorinobu's return in his apartments for biochip? Outright idiocity

but then no one would ever want to work with him anymore since he would obtain the reputation of the fixer who kills his own mercs.

A simple job against the biggest corporation in the world? Try enter Area 51 in the USA.
Theoretically, it was supposed to be a simple job. Disable security, get in, take the thing, walk out. Who they were stealing from was irrelevant.

ONLY if he got caught. Dex wasn't thinking that far ahead.

But who they were stealing from is incredibly relevant though, otherwise it is a massive oversimplification.

Stealing something from my neighbor Bob and disabling his home security is going to be a lot easier than stealing something from Elon Musk when he is on the top floor of a hotel with hyper-advanced security, robot guards, security and a giant cyborg personal bodyguard monster-thing.

Again - relating this to other CDPR games.

It is like saying the objective is to find Ciri and keep her safe, it is irrelevant of who they are keeping her safe from. Well actually, it is incredibly relevant... because the people who are hunting her down are a band of extremely powerful realm traveling elf-people-things... not just a band of random bandits.

Rogue at some point openly admits that V gets only solo gigs because his first and last team gig was an absolute clusterfuck of fail which got all his teammates and then fixer killed. Reputation is everything. No one will work with merc who got his team killed. No one will work for a fixer killing his mercs
