Not sure if this really qualifies as a "transgender option" since it seems to be all about picking any voice/body part, regardless of whether you click male or female. By that metric, games like Pillars of eternity had a "transgender option" (which they didn't) simply because you could pick and choose these as you please.

To my mind, they can go ahead and include anything they want as long as it doesnt take away from the time and effort going into the rest of the game. If it's merely an equivalent of an .ini edit that allows you to pick anything you want in the char creator, sure, go for it.
