why did CDPR waste all that money making a massive open world, just too leave it empty of things other than 'go here,kill that' they could have easily made that kinda game with a semi open world, they didn't have to go all that effort.

Any gamer thats played RPG's can see the wasted protentional here and the activities CDPR have cut out to release on all platforms. If only CDPR didnt have to cater for last gen consoles, then we might have got the complete package.

Instead we gotta wait for modders to fix it up, CDPR are gonna be way to busy trying to get the game to run on last gen consoles before they start adding the game back in.

Maybe, just maybe CDPR could release some mod tools early so modders can add whats missing.

Yes, if CDPR doesn't want to go to the time and expense to fix the gameplay aspects, dropping a complete set of mod tools would go a long way to making players happy. Look at how Skyrim has stayed playable and relevant, with graphics, AI, quest, and all manner of other updates. Honestly a complete set of mod tools will probably make this game far better in the long run than CDPR alone could ever make it.

Please don't abandon this game, just fix it, we players - will stay with you and help you. But you gotta fix not only bugs for consoles, but also add a ton of features, for example more joytoys more braindance more romance options, poker, playable arcade cabinets etc.. and many more side activity that is not just killing this killing that.
Also you need to make bigger impact with the lifepath choices its so pointless at the moment what you choose.
i know its hard to rewrite ending, but try it for the sake of future DLC.
rewamp Police AI don't make them spawn instantly no matter where you are. Add bounty hunters like you promissed.

there is tons of work for you to be done, but please forget for a moment your shareholders forget stocks and all corporate suits who doesn't understand anything just marketing and greed, they are leechers. Trust your player base. We will help you, but you have to set your priorities first, this is your crossroad right now with CP2077.
Either you destroy your image you built all those years or you rise above it and become even better.

Bugs and performance issue? Yes 100% I know it will be fixed.
Contents and features? I doubt it... Those need massive overhaul that most company will abandon them and sells you DLC instead.

Dear CD Projet Red Management.
I am a first time customer. I got the game because of very positive (commercial) reviews.
I consider it a mistake now, and I feel misled and disappointed.

I have two important messages, from my point of view:

1. Engange in a thorough conversation with your developers. Listen to them, understand their difficulties. Go out of your way to support them. They need your trust as much as do the players right now.

2. Engage with the modding community. Think very hard to come up with some kind of business model or compensation scheme that respects the modders and the players.

The biggest problem with the game is that no only is it broken, it's also unfinished. Not only does gameplay have cut content, but also the narrative seems to have missing parts. CDPR has a lot of work to do. I truly believe that there is a brilliant game underneath all the shortcomings.

I agree with this statement but it makes me mad that they removed all the content. they intentionally deceived people.

According to CDProjekt, the game will have 2 major expansions. So if we lay down a timeline.

1. Bug fixes (2020-2021).
2. Small DLC's (2021-2022).
3. First expansion (2022).
4. Second expansion (2022-2023).
5. The Witcher 4 (2027).
6. Cyberpunk 2077 part 2 (2077).

I concur, forfeit all the bonus content including DLC and multiplayer and just rebuild this game to what you know it should be. Conduct a poll if you really want empirical evidence this is what your fans want.

The game have very deep rooted design issues. Dialogues related to lifepath aren't properly aknowledge (Nomad dialogue choice -> NPC says "V isn't nomad" -> wtf ), police and AI is a placeholder, no real reactions of the world to your style, no real choice and consequence system, quest design doesn't acknowledge the freedom given by the level design by placing extremely linear objectives, and many other...

This game is in an early alpha state. It doesn't need bugs fixing, it needs reworking and further development. Will they invest the money they got on D1 to finish the game? I hope so. Will they just pull the plug and move on? This is a possibility, management doesn't seem to have a plan. They probably thought the game was good enough and just needed bug fixing and polishing.

They certainly need to support modding, it's the only thing that can save this project on the long term

I'm not giving them a free pass, the game was fun, I got 80 hrs already, I played on PC and had a positive experience minus a few bugs. There were several things left out of the game they might actually put into it later, hopefully. It needs a few QoL features and lots of polish. But it is a good game.
I will be anxious to check these forums over the next few months. I think if CDPR fixed the bugs in the game, added some features, and discovered the cure for cancer, there are still going to be some people who will hate them. I think there are several people on these forums who are devoted to bringing attention to every possible shortcoming this game has.
I honestly am shocked that any person who plays games is surprised that a new game came out with bugs. I dont think that is a great thing for the companies who make games, but it is how things work. Go back and look at almost any game released over the last 10 years. I learned my lesson on AC Unity.
