That turned out to be a lie again. Marcin took to twitter to confirm, the patch won't be out today, and from the phrasing, it's pretty clear: it won't be out tomorrow either.
So back to the logic of not releasing the hotfix: why? If you have it fixed, why do we have to wait for you to release it? Please explain, it makes no sense!

Kind of embarassing to see so many people scrambling to defend CDPR for no reason whatsoever. It is not entitlement to expect someone to honour a promise, no? Now, I don't blame CDPR per se, there are plenty of developers that don't fix bugs at all once they've managed to sell the game to their customers (Ubisoft), but the way some people choose to attack those that do have suffer from a multitude of bugs is appaling.
Anyway, I don't suffer from the XP reduction bug, but I certainly sympathise with those who do. While it's probably possible to finish the main quest as a L19 it can't be anything other than very difficult and time consuming to do so, it's not unreasonable to expect a hotfix in situations like this.

It s just bad. they said till wednesday the latest. So why havent they instead said: it'll be released on friday or hell even next week. With empty promises they will get angry customers.

Maybe in ultra catholic poland and some other catholic "areas" but not here in middle germany.
Yeah i actually wanted to adress that too. i live in switzerland lol
Don't know about the strictness of the law in Poland but some countries are very harsh about working on a national holiday(completely forbidden), so that would rule tomorrow out as well.
So it seems they have it only in Poland.
Mmhhh... let me think... maybe they just inserted it in order to have an excuse for the patch delay?
And maybe we'll then discover that the "incorrect things" said by Marcin Momot are due to the fact that he has been replaced by a drunk Doppler...

To CDPR:
Telling missing XP bug is not affecting users finishing game, is like telling a car buyer a broken audio system is not affecting him to drive from A to B: True, but not acceptable, if you bought it.
