Features and fixes we need to have for Cyberpunk 2077 that could have been alot more better (for devs):

1.) Real time hair growing over time and having a haircut on a barbershop. Yep thats my no. 1 because that's a good feature need to have for every character building open world game.

2.) Fix when cops are just spawning near us when we are wanted (stars). We need those sirens to be heard from far away that's going to anxious/kick/chase our a*ses.

3.) Cops are not immersive enough to regulate traffic laws for player to sustain violence in the city so for that to fix:

a.) We need patrolling NPC Police Cars regulating traffic laws.

b.) Police NPC need to have a reaction when we are in our quests doing criminal activity (bug in game currently)

c.) Police tend to lose players in the map easily, giving unsatisfaction feeling for players to goof around with cops. In terms of car chase or not. We need better AI and car chase for Police.

4.) Speed limiter "option" in driving to control car in low max speed for vehicles and traffic rule with the NPC. Example would be downtown has a speed limit of 50 miles per hour to follow and highways around 100 miles per hour. (Toggle On/Off)

5.) Fix the game for not being immersive enough when changing our clothes & weapon to be automatically stored in apartment wardrobe and weapon lockers to store & change weapons in vehicles trunk. (Make it easily accessible for players)

6.) Dead NPC living routine in Night City, its so easy to notice how NPC just repeats their daily routine and spawn out of nowhere in middle cutscenes. Fix NPC Detail of living in life on Night City (Bugs and Improving) Need Population to increase denser the more we progress in the game. Yes like alot!

6.) Need to have a garage to save/customize our vehicles we obtain/collect in our mission as a display of achievement. This is a must as 80% of gamers are car collection lovers.

7.) Tweak Side Job calls poppin out from phone out of nowhere without player interaction to care where it come from. It's like the game saying "go there as you were told to in the phone even you don't wanna do it yet because 10 side jobs requests calls came from random characters you haven't met before and they don't care when you going to come after them."

Like what?! But why?! Why CDPR quest design is crossing that line?? Why you can't let us explore and find this characters, ask them to give us jobs? Example would be giving us an option to disable our gun for hire jobs that keep giving us side jobs from random caller. The phone contact feature to contact characters we've met is perfect to give player opportunity to decide to do the side job or not and not let the game stack the side job for confusing reason to have it out just because this is going to affects our main job. So fix it CDPR.

By the way, Cyberpunk 2077 has a phone contact feature for players to interact to call to accept any side job from a person they want. I just feel like in my playthrough CDPR didn't take advantage to it to make players interactable with the characters from our contacts give us side jobs.

8.) Lack of Freedom for Repetitive Quests/minigames to get income/street cred for players to take over and have fun even the game is 100% complete (become cop and arrest criminals, join different type of gang and fight for territories/turfs etc.) We need timed daily quests to be like a living life in Night City even when its all over. NG+ looks overrated for Main & Side Jobs but can be featured repeatedly in mission like Gigs just for an idea.

9.) No control over flying vehicles or an option for rental flying vehicle that can tour/fast travel us in Night City whenever we are near in landing areas of flying vehicles scattered around Night city. Subway/Railway to ride for fast travel/mini-cinematic

10.) Poor In-game world physics

One more thing I'm getting pissed the most in this game aside from game breaking bugs that I reconsider.

Imagine working in the game for 7 years and they haven't think about having euphoria physics in their game engine first. This is my greatest disappointment from CDPR making an ambitious game. I really do hope by the end of February, we'll be getting a game that has a better AI behavior and physics from a 7 year old game GTA 5.

I'm talking about AI behavior and physics guys, let's not get mad about it and we know for the fact that there is small chance to fix the physics of this game by going through patches in a small period of time.

Take a look at the differences of Cyberpunk 2077 from a 7 year old game GTA 5 in terms of physics and environment to sees who is alot more detailed or not.

This sums it up p good. GTA V came out in 2013 for fucks sake.

They never claimed to make anything like GTA. That was never the plan.

Also, the improvements listed in OP would require way too much work and something like that will never be done for this game. It is even possible that this will also not make it into Cyberpunk 2 because - as mentioned in my first sentence - the game was not intended to be like GTA.

We are not stupid, GTA physics and AI is justified to a "must have" in every open world sandbox games right now. If a game refuses to use such tech to an extent to make the game more immersive the same way, then its a failure to be called as a "next-gen".

Rockstar didn't invented Euphoria Physics just for them to use on their own. The feature is out there alive and detailed, why refuse using it? Stop being on-denial on this type of stuff because I'm not really pointing out the differences of GTA and Cyberpunk 2077 Core Gameplay.

But CP2077 is not a sandbox game, that's my whole point. Furthermore, terms like "next-gen" are commonly associated with graphics and not with gameplay and in this regard CP2077 excels.

I only agree with your police remarks, the rest is very non-essential, for me.
And that is of course what happens when "the whole world". buys this game. We all want and expect something else.
For me this game is exactly what I wanted, a great story in a stunning world, lots of freedom but not Zelda breath of the wild freedom ( never played GTA )

There are some flaws ( next to the bugs) but that is fine. I just ignore them and enjoy what is there.

60 Euro for 200 hours of fun is pretty cheap entertainment. ( I am aware that 60 Euro is not something everybody has, but compared to other forms of entertainment, this is low-cost entertainment )

So I am disappointed, but that is with the constant complaining community.

Well I add my 2 cents.

1. Better Dynamic Weather - sounds like name for a mod but yeah, the weather system doesn't impress me. Its mostly sunny and I get it, Its California, but some foggy/smog weather types, dry thunderstorm, duststorms that mess up with your cyberwear and enemy's? Especially if its partially implemented, during one of the races you encounter short duststorm, haven't seen one in the city tho. Combined with better AI that actually reacts to its surroundings would be pretty cool.

2. Apartment customization - I know V got better things on her/his mind but still, after long day It would be nice to chill in a place you actually consider your home. When I found my first vinyl record I thought you could listen to them, but then it turned out to be just some junk item. But that would be cool to collect vinyl records and listen to songs that you wont hear in radio. Tinker on you equipment, crafting now is definitely too easy. Crafting a Sniper Rifle out of thin air, C'mon even in Cyberpunk you need some kind of workbench. Build your own workshop, upgrade you workbench? Build you own netrunner den. Small things but I really feel the lack of them.

3. Cyberwear, more cyberwear, nightvision, thermalvision, targeting, shielding from environmental hazards (if different weathers would be implemented) things like that.

4. Like OP said, Garage, I love the Cyberpunk cars, MIZUTANI SHION just awesome. But why the hell I can't customize it to my liking, I haven't used fast travel not once. I either walk or drive, this means I spend alot of time in my car. Its part of my V. I want to customize it. I want it to represent my character. I don't know, it might seem like something less important to some, but its a RPG, things like this help to get in to character. Even in Witcher you could buy different gear for Roach.

That's like 4 cents but worth a million to me. ;)

Improve the NPC A.I , the wanted system, implement water physics, performance and stability fixes, fix bugs, improve world interactivity like allow us to rob stores and get haircuts.

P.S let us play the Roach arcade game

1. Add a "Toggle-Walk" button
2. Remove the dodging/extract weapon double-tap
3. The city is full of potential activities (casinos, cinemas, braindances, vendors, drugs etch.) but you cannot access in any of these buildings
4. Barbershops - Tattoos missing
5. Ripperdocks have no animations when implanting a new piece, they only showed us the Vik sequence because they wanted to sell more
6. Mirror and Nude glitches/bugs

This is the first time CD has done this, whilst the of GTA have had years to develop these kind of mechanics and in time, CD will get better in time as they get better at it and learn.

Loving all these people expecting police to patrol the streets because they paid more attention to GTA 5 than cyberpunk lore.

The cops patrolling the streets would be far More off putting to fanss because ncpd is not there to serve and protect, they don't have the real teeth to do it in that world.

The rest of your, "I want the game to be more like grand theft auto" can be debated by the others. Game is an RPG, some features work, the vast majority won't.

All I see coming out of this warrent system in the future is an exploit to farm gear, or something antifun to stop my progression. Half your complaints are around the game not forcing me to follow the traffic laws, when I just see cars as a mount, like in every other RPG. Imagine if Skyrim has a guard chase you down screaming "DRAGONBORN! YOU'RE RIDING TOO FAST!"

I would love to see:
1./ NCPD Patrols and chasing us if we escape in car/moto
2./ No NPCs spawning in my sight of view... I fully agree about sirens etc. Cops that appear in front of me... that's sad
3./ Fix NPCs.... god damn the worst is the NPCs crouching when you use your gun. It remind me games that were existing 6 years ago
4./ I agree with exogenesis09 and I don't think this is terrible to introduce several features like being able to destroy a tire etc.... (maybe in a future dlc)

If they add this, for me the game would be perfect regarding the universe

On a sside note, I agree about water that is not realistic, but on this I doubt they would add it.

this is stupid, comparing GTAV to CP2077, i think CP2077 is more similar to watchdogs than gta.

When I discovered Cyberpunk 2077 4 years ago when Witcher 3 was rising, I thought Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be the most detailed RPG because of a new engine Redengine 4. I expect that the engine will introduce next gen physics, AI and immersive player choice that will offer ambitious and better interaction from open world games like GTA 5/Online or Watch Dogs 1.

Furthermore, this is some list I thought it would make sense to keep the essence of not just being a mercenary in the game by just doing jobs/missions to change our stats, skills and appearances etc. without exploiting Core RPG elements progression of our character V from side activities.

E.g
1.) Going to the gym, can increases our cool, power, and reflexes in different type of equipment available. We can encounter random NPC interaction as we spent more time in there leading more side quests to unlock. (This is why I listed up my no. 7 topic for side job to be tweak because 80% of my sidequests playthrough came from random characters phone call nonstop stacking the quest logs/messages without background story where they get my phone number at or why CDPR forced the quest to be receive by player without knowing them until you meet them for the job forgetting the purpose how did he/she find about us to take their job. Probably add a Job board in afterlife bar where we can contact this side characters personally with the job.

2.) Being able to work as a cop
with Ranking System to climb our way up of becoming a chief of department or something to unlock more hidden agenda that is not something a mere mercenary can do and separate progress from being a mercenary could be nice,go off duty anytime, or quit from that job in some case scenario if new path is taken. Being a cop in a dangerous world like Night City has alot of benefits after all since there is gangs/corpos to oppose for making it fun to goof around when players feel bored bringing chaos to cops.

3.) Speaking of gangs, I thought Cyberpunk 2077 is going to feel like GTA San Andreas but instead of V being like CJ where he has story for being part of Grove Street and nothing else. I thought V (us players) in this game will choose where we wanna become part of this 8 gangs in the early game as street kid and do turf control/vehicle drive-by etc. with them, and of course we should have freedom to leave in the gang later on if we want to be an ambitious corpo or a tough Gang leader that will control all the streets/properties from corpos highlighted in the map of night city.

What im pointing out here is that Cyberpunk 2077 is lack of activities to do when the main and side story is 100% done. The game new dialogue system brought new experience in story telling for characters V met, except from thousands of NPC's Citizen that's not part of V's CDPR quest storyline that lived in the city that could have made V interrogate, blackmail, rob, greet them just like in Red dead Redemption 2 to make it immersive for every corner of Night City to explore us around and see them dying in a car accident randomly or committing suicide for example. You know, those random moments that could give us more surprise instead of funny bugs.

Like just imagine you have to use the same NPC/AI conversation concept 5 years ago from Witcher 3 where NPC repeat the dialogue over and over again when player talked into it like a robot with no reactions. Thats a big NO CDPR. I guess we forgot to suggest that the NPC in the street could have gotten more immersive in Witcher 3 huh? Let me introduce you RDR 2.

Also, Next-gen isn't the right word to it either CDPR, Red Dead Redemption 2 offers more next gen content than Cyberpunk in terms of Quality of features we haven't seen before, and I believed is the only game company that cares more investing about their NPC/AI behaviors for its players playing despite only being restricted at Action-Adventure Open World Game genre with some little rpg content here and there. Cyberpunk 2077 could have bring more depth than RDR2 into its NPC/AI with this new Dialogue system if CDPR did it perfectly. There is too much activities to add in Night City but CDPR only managed to focus on its strengths which is its World Design, storytelling missions and the character progression. Other than that, they were not impressive enough to define next gen aka something refined or new despite all this bugs.

HA, number 7... I actually found a lady that were giving me side missions in a tall building, its actually showing on the map, like two hands shaking, or some of them are hiding in caffe bars..You can find them all i think..I went to talk to her, you have options to questions those characters...

I mean the RPG element is all there, we all saw how detailed their story telling and how gorgeous Night City is. The Quests are kinda meh (could be improve) and its probably there to introduce us in the world to allow CDPR to showcase us this new ambitious dialogue system that will evolve dead NPC/AI interaction (not side characters from missions), but CDPR manages to flop it so hard for 7 years or maybe we can say 4-5 years since Witcher 3 was a huge success.

The major problem of the game is the AI, Physics, Side Activities (Not part of Main and Side Quest), and small little details to be part of in an open world that is always been a while since Rockstar Games become world known for their Open World detail for side activities such as:

1.) Having small details to side activities like GTA SA (e.g Gang Warfare System/Territory War since V can be a street kid and join gang) or GTA VC (e.g Empire Building System since V can be a corpo that can hold properties)

2.) GTA SA Minigame such as Billiards or Basketball, Casino, Vigilante Mission (Cop) or Ambulance Mission, and even dancing in club has mini game to it while Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't.

This can all be put on Cyberpunk 2077 so easily for players to enjoy that doesn't want to do side/main mission.

By the way, this are 10+ years old games and new generation developers (aside from the new game RDR 2 where its almost all GTA SA and VC feature combine) turn blind to this type of small features they can add to Singleplayer for players to enjoy again and not to get washed up from doing Main or Side mission that CDPR offered for players to meet important characters to be in Night City.

And yes this is RPG, which means CDPR need to step up their game from Adventure-Action focus genre game like GTA & RDR of Rockstar Games when it comes to level of detail of portraying the word "Role-playing" Game.
Post automatically merged:

If GTA/RDR 2 has boring progression system and RNG Story for players taste. Cyberpunk 2077/Witcher offers the best character progression/story for players.

Speaking of which, CDPR already has an advantages than Rockstar in terms of players play their game without the uses of Multiplayer.

All I can say is that I always keep comparing the two companies because of their similar goal of design in gaming. CDPR & Rockstar really need to emphasize past open world games mechanics that made the old legend games keep alive to become masterpiece and relive those mechanics by overhauling it again for perfect nostalgia next gen feeling as technology evolve and repeat.

Every Innovation for gaming in any aspect has its own purposes to brought up new design. CDPR did the opposite for Cyberpunk 2077 and only focuses on what they good at to improve on this game and that's a huge disappointment.

This is all the reason why I brought up all this conversation
"We expected more"
