Censorship in The Witcher

I have actually contacted gogamer, and unfortunately they will not be carrying the CE version of the game.As for the other UK sites, I calculated the cost after shipping to be around $100 which is bit too much for a so-so CE. Guess those of us in the US are just out of luck ;(

I like how Gamestation put a picture of the LE contents with what has to be the normal version. It's impossible to order the CE at Game.co.uk online. I am betting they no longer have availability (like everyone else). I've tried calling, but only get a "busy" message.

Now I'm confused. The cards are censored? I was under the impression the American version wouldn't come with them at all.

Too, we're assuming that the devs know if something is censored or removed because they'd supposedly have to work on the art/animation to replace/remove those parts. I'm inclined to believe them, but there's always the chance of miscommunication along the lines.A good PR move would be to show, say, one of the "sex cards" images that have already been released (like the one I linked to in the Ask a Dev thread) and then show what the censored version looks like. If a censored version exists, then that'll help indicate that they are in the game.

Same error! Why does it have to be this hard to get the CE and the unsensored game...argh this game is for 18+ someone needs to relax and let us have our fun....stupid censors. I'm not getting it here in the US, I will find a way to get it from the UK, maybe ebay.

I'm close to just giving up on the CE and ordering from GoGamer. Since it seems impossible to get it from GAME, I'm just waiting to see what the contents of the Australian CE are before ordering the normal version from gogamer. It's 2 weeks away from release and nobody knows what the heck is in the Australian CE.I know GoGamer said they won't be carrying the CE, but maybe we'll get lucky and they'll score some - I seem to remember them coming into some S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Limited Editions after release....

Game never worked for me. I used gameplay.co.uk. I guess the true test will be to see if they ship it out and actually charge my account on time here on Wednesday or Thursday this week.

Yes im in the uk with free shipping,but one of my online friends from canada has allso ordered it ok ???,maybe its a US problem sorry cant help,did my best.

Yeah guess GoGamer is the only way to go...at least there we can get the uncensored version. I really am just interested in the CE book so probably can get that on ebay.

There is no region coding on PC games right? If I live in the US and order this version, it will work?
