Certain Inn Keeper not selling gwent cards

Hi folks,

I went to buy gwent cards from the golden sturgeon.

I knew I hadnt been there before as i saw its icon pop up.

But the guy wasn't selling any cards.

I did win one off him.

Did I do quests in wrong order or something?

Have i messed up 'gotta get em all'?

Not every innkeeper sells cards. You also don't need to beat every innkeeper, merchant and smith to collect all the random cards.

Ok, he was listed in something i googled as a place to buy and cross off the list.

Maybe there's a random element here then.

There is no random element. All Gwent cards that can be bought are 100% static. They are always sold by the same people. Not all inkeepers sell cards, but the one at the Golden Sturgeon isn't among them. That said, the Innkeeper at the Sturgeon should have cards to buy.
