Change the layer of an object?

hey guys... ;)

can i change an objects layer without deleting it or changing its position?

Yes, you can... but I believe only one by one, just drag them from the layer´s drop down to the desired one.

yes, but withou opening redkit i couldn't tell you for sure. I belive it it RMB and then rename

If I recall correctly you can't actually change the name of layers. What you can do is simply create a new layer with the correct name and then click drag on the old layer, not the stuff inside, but the layer itself. Drag it to the new layers and you will get a popup asking if you want to "Move children here" "Merge layers" "Cancel" click move children here and everything gets moved.

Well... You can as well just rename layer file. It's separated file - do you remember ;)? Not sure if it will work smoothly when renaming inside asset browser or with this world opened at all, but you should be able to change it's name just as any other file on your computer. The other thing is that i don't guarantee that world file won't lose connection to it. Somebody should test it out.
