MM360, have you tried out the new combat?

Yes, in my opinion combat feels way better now.

And this applies to the PC version too ?

Btw great changes. I like that they nerfed quen(although on dark mode it was pretty much useless, especially when you were surrounded by 4-5 enemies), and made signs and parrying more effective the more vigor you have, which is nice, and implies a more tactical approach.

Another nice touch is the presents of animals, since it was kind of odd to hear the dogs and the geese but not see them.
Can't wait for part two of the changelog. :)

Every single content and improvement is great, and all of it for free. I must be dreaming. :p

Right, i think the dragon may now go from "too easy" to "real pain in the a**", with damage to quen AND nerfed quen on top. I'm scared.

Animals, great! But guys, will you add FOV slider, please? In combat it's fine, but in game itself... Or maybe you just let us zoom camera out (with mouse wheel), like in first game? Will much appreciated. :)

That's good to hear, especially from a fighting game buff.

Looks great and I definitely found quen ridiculously overpowering. Now how about a definitive mouselag fix?

@MM360

maybe you can think about dividing your changelogs into sections like: Combat/gameplay/bug-fixes and so on? Would make it a little bit easier to read :)

So... you're now TOTALLY INVINCIBLE FROM BEHIND with Level 2 Position? ...And dodgeroll is becoming EVEN MORE VERSATILE?

Dodgeroll in The Witcher 2.0:
-Lets you move faster than running
-Helps you escape groups of enemies
-Helps you quickly position yourself however is tactically appropriate
-Makes it even easier to kite enemies around while Vigor recharges
-Isn't interrupted by enemy attacks

Meanwhile, Parry makes you take damage and its only advantage is being able to pirouette if you have the talent (and it's still not that great)!

Removing stunlocking from Geralt in 2.0 was bad enough... The Quen nerf is good news, but I'm hoping someone makes a mod to fix these casual concessions.

Hehe, nerfed Quen. The casual gamers is gonna freak. I do like that, Quen was waaay to powerful. :)

Overall good fixes indeed. Dice poker fix is very much appriciated, had to reset the game a few times since the poker game got "Stuck", it even crashed on me once. I'm all for fixes as long as it does not create new problems. :)

I couldn't figure out why there would be an option to turn of DLC, but then I remembered the bonus items. I can see why some might want to just turn them off. I know that I usually ended up wearing the mage trousers up through Chapter 3, so some of those items might be overdone.

I'm rather excited about the prospect of a werewolf in the game.

I've read both parts of the change log. I guess we'll see if the Steam overlay is fixed on April 17th. If not, I guess I'll be uninstalling and never looking back. And never buying a CDPR game again. I know this probably sound elitist and cry babyish. But I bought the game on Steam for a reason, and that reason does not work now. So why play if I can't take advantage of those features? Could a dev chime in and confirm whether or not the overlay is fixed, or if it will ever get fixed?

I totally agree, you're not being unreasonable. The Steam version has been plagued with issues from the beginning and they should try and address them. It's been a year now.

True. No matter how awesome they are, they still have some dirt under the carpet. High time for some cleaning.
