Ah, good one! They should look into this. Also, the troll of Flotsam attacks you straight away when you meet him for the first time. Only when you close in on him he starts talking. Seems like all the trolls are going nuts.

Hope this will be fixed in the EE. Who would want to kill those trolls? :(

Hm... I'm slightly starting to think that FOV change is not possible on RED Engine.... just a thought of mine

Yep, I'm thinking the same.

Maybe it's also a matter of how manipulating the FOV freely would affect performance of the game. For example, during the battle in the myst zooming out would mean more animation to be processed due to tens or hundreds of soldiers fighting around us?

The witcher 2 is coming soon and here is a small list from a large one of the improvements and fixes that were done to the game so far.

Added to the game animals.
In Act III adds a trophy werewolf.
Added a new, randomly distributed, swords.
Fixed a bug in the extra time action potion at level 2 in the ability of ‘Specialist: Potions’.
Fixed an incorrect description of the capabilities ‘Power Control’.
Fixed an incorrect description of capability ‘The Alchemist’.
Fixed an incorrect description of the capabilities ‘amplification’ at level 2
Fixed an incorrect description of the capabilities ‘Energy Flow’ at level 2
Fixed an incorrect description of the capacity ‘under control’ at level 2
Fixed an incorrect description of the capabilities ‘Synthesis’ at level 2
Fixed an incorrect description of the capabilities ‘Combat Reflexes’.
Fixed an incorrect description of the elixir of Kraków.
An amendment to balance the ability ‘Garda’ at level 2
Fixed the incorrect calculation of damage to the ability of ‘mill’.
Fixed effects of sparks and no damage to the evasion while fighting the enemy.
Fixed the incorrect notification of the use of a mark on golemach Aksji.
Rune Sword Mahakamski Sihil is now imported correctly from saved games from one to the next Witcher game.

Where have you been? They posted both changelogs a while ago. You might want to check those out before posting redundant things.
