Changes to the GWENT Shop on GOG

Hello GWENTers!

With GOG’s ongoing efforts to modernize their store and improve your experience, they’ve decided to retire the GWENT Shop on their website (formerly at https://www.gog.com/gwent-shop), which also affects access to it via GOG GALAXY.

But don’t worry — the optional purchases that were available there are staying, it only changes where you can find them.

They’re available on the GWENT product page in the GOG store under the "DLCs" section or in the “Additional Content” section on GWENT’s GOG GALAXY game view. Additionally, all in-game purchases within GWENT remain unchanged and fully supported.

This small change comes down to efficiency: only a tiny fraction of players used the web-based GWENT Shop. By retiring it, our friends at GOG can better focus their resources on enhancing other areas of the platform.

I tried to make a purchase using the new system. I accessed the additional content section on GOG Galaxy and found that I could purchase kegs and journeys but not the ornaments that were displayed in the Gwent shop. I raised a ticket on this but was advised that they were unable to help me.

Is it the intention that ornaments will no longer be available for purchase? If so please consider making these available for meteorite powder, which can still be purchased or earned in-game.
