Changing resolution has no effect on frame rates for me...

I am running the game at 1680x1050 with max AA and I am getting 10-30 frames per second. I have shadows off, grass off and draw distance at near. I changed the resolution to 800x600 with no AA and the frame rates stayed the same. I am convinced that there is nothing I can do short of getting a new CPU to increase frame rates. It looks like it's processor all the way with this game.Athlon 3400+2.5 Gig RAMNividia Geforce 7950 512 MB Creative SB x-Fi

when changing resolutions has no effect on framerate, assuming there is no built in framerate limiter in the game, the CPU is the obvious choice for the bottleneck.that said, this game appears to be rather poorly optimized, so don't go out buyin a new CPU just for it; they might even end up optimizing some of the code in later patches, for that matter.
