CDPR has stated that there will be many times when you get to see your character in game through cutscens, maybe via mirrors and things like that. I was wondering if you all had any interesting suggestions for any other ways of seeing your character in game? Maybe a way for you to take selfies, smoking a cigarette that pops you in to third person view (kind of a panning thing that happens in many games when you stand still for to long), or anything like that.

Female V has that down pat.
I think the jacket should be the 'face' of the game, even more so if you start with it or you get it early in the game. Cover could be a picture of Night City (a flip cover one set in the day the other at night) and the back of the jacket visible. The large posters can have a couple variants with different defaults wearing the jacket over the same scenes.
As far as male and female V I do think in terms of games female V is a bit more unique than the male one though it does look like she has traits common to Dex from the game with the same name. Though the first male V does have that late 20s to early 30s buzz cut male appearance down to a t. If the other male character shown at the noodle stand with the other two characters pointing guns at him is V as well I would say he would be the most unique of the three as far as lead game characters go, and since he has a little more cyberware shown might act as a better face since this game will likely be about the cyberware.

Using consumables like cigarettes (Assuming those are in-game - a lot of games don't have small details like that) would be neat, but probably unrealistic unless you were forced to stand still.

I don't think so but on the main site in the screen shots there is someone that looks like him wearing a coat that looks like the Samurai coat.

Ah, yeah, I wouldn't take that to mean anything. The guy with the top knot (Jackie, an NPC companion) has the same jacket.
Anyway, I get what you were saying, didn't mean to nitpick, just wanted to check because I didn't think they showed any other MCs except one variant of male and one variant of female V.
Not quite, I made the same mistake at first, but Jackie is a different character. You seem him with the topknot sitting on the bench with the pistol.
To those already mentioned I'd add wanted posters/bulletins or the Cyberpunk equivalent. Security cam footage perhaps. I like it when your custom made face pops up on TV screens or on a hit list you've just taken from the body of an assassin you've gunned down.

What's all this about pornstars and why is it important to this topic? I followed the crumbs to the origin and understood no more than when I started noticing this strange repeated pornstars reference every other post. Was that guy saying that V already looks like a pornstar in the trailer, or that she should look like one? Confused...
The rest of us are just memeing it up after the legendary pornstar fascination @n4meless1 displayed. Virtually every one of his posts said either "bimbo" or "pornstar." I found it amusing, other people found it offensive, either way, it was unusual and now it's a meme (because I said it is, and I'm the official arbiter of what is and isn't a meme).
It's not important to the topic. The topic is wanting (or not wanting) to have Female V as the face of the game.

I repeat that both V's look pretty generic to me and again would suggest remaking the original PNP Cover
Replace the guy with a character you can make in the game (not generic V from the trailer), preferable make him look more like the PNP artwork. As for the girl, replace her with Lizzy Wizzy with her full chrome body, and definitely have a FLYING CAR and Night City in the background at night. Maybe have some gangs in the background.
