No, it cant be, Geralt met Letho, Serrit and Aukes while in pursuit of the Wild Hunt. He wouldn't have had the time to team up with the witchers from the school of the wolf.

I didn't think of the possibility of her being Cynthia, but I doubt it.
It might be Regis.

Personally, I hope it's a new and original character. Perhaps a Zerrikanean mage, that would be cool.

Not a fan of the possibility of Regis appearing. It took 50 years for him to regenerate when he was "simply" cut to pieces. I have a feeling that the damage done by Vilgefortz was substantially more severe.

Judging from Adalbert, Vanhemmar, and Nilfgaardian mage bounty hunter, this is not how your average Nilfgaardian mage looks like.

I doubt it's a generic character, it would at least have to be a side character of sorts. Perhaps a mysterious merchant.
