Character attributes - how to get it

Character attributes:

Battle Seasoned - Vigor regeneration when fighting +5%
Half-Pirouette - Resistance to all critical effects +10%
Healthy Diet - Regeneration of vitality when not fighting +20%
Invincible - Vitality +20
Precision - Chance of all critical effects +5%
Sapper - Chance of avoiding damage dealt by traps and bombs 50%
Toxic Blood - Opponents that damage Geralt may be poisoned if Geralt is using potions. Chance of poisoning 30%


Anybody get one of this Character attributes?! Or it is cutting from game?!

I try to take Sapper - more than 100 action do to install, disarm and uninstall trap but nothing.

It's quite possible that these abilities never made it into the game, in the end. They are in the core files, sure, but whatever actions you need to take in order for them to activate, seem to have been disabled or never implemented to begin with. I say this because I have never spotted anyone claiming they've been able to acquire either of those abilities.

So this thread is very old, but I wanted to respond because one of these is possible.

I have actually gotten sapper. I don't think it works with traps you set yourself. I always get it by letting myself get snared by the snares set in the woods outside Flotsam. The others, though, I'm pretty sure are not possible to get in the game just by playing.

Sapper calls for interrupting the act of disarming a trap (!) Disarm a trap and activate your medallion while the disarm animation is playing. Screwy, but it works every time for me.

Works for me, too, even with Geralt's own traps.

I can also confirm the presence of Toxic Blood as an available attribute ('Poison Geralt using a Devil's Puffball'). Takes a few tries to get poisoned, but then the attribute pops.

Great signature, Guy, and fitting for this forum. The quality of the writing in The Witcher games continues to amaze me. I'm playing another game from the genre now, and while I enjoy its mechanics, I miss the smart dialog of TW2.
