I'd like to see the ability to add armor to every piece of clothing in game. (A visible yet elegant piece of armor upgrade, like shoulder pads, arm guards, knee pads, hacking tool etc) Also, having weapon holsters would be great.

Now holsters is not something I had considered. Having holsters, (and hidden holsters,) for weapons could make a huge difference to gameplay. Those wepaons will still be visable, even if not drawn. If someone walked into a shot with a gun in their hand, everyone is going to freak. Even if that gun were in a holster and it was known that carrying said firearm was perfectly legal, (like in many US states,) that doesn't mean everyones going to be calm about it. Many would certainly be on edge. But if those holsters are hidden, then no one knows...
As far as general customisation is concerned, I think EVE Onlines character creation tool in the CARBON engine is amazing. Being able to alter every little detail about your characters physical appearance is awesome. All in all, more is better. More options means better result.
I don't think roles are the way forward though. By all means tweak the begining of the game to suit a starting location based on a players initial character creation desicions, but the development of said character should be totally freeform in nature, purely non-linear.
I don't know if this has been mentioned, but it would be seriously cool to have glow-in-the-dark or black light effects for body parts, skin, or hair. Click to enlarge.

I don't see why not. We already have photoreactive tattoo ink that glows under blacklight today.
By 2077, I don't see why we couldn't have bioluminescent pigments, or micro l-wire implants.

Just hoping when there are lots of options they take in consideration what you're using in cutscenes. Meaning that I suddenly won't have gun that I haven't seen since beginning of the game in my hand (Mass Effect). But I don't remember these kind of mistakes from Witcher 2 so I think we're safe.
Here's an idea- how about an option to include self-made tattoo or makeup for your character. I imagine having some way to draw it out on your tablet or phone, and then uploading it onto your character's skin. Then you can create custom effects for makeup and tattoos, and be awesome.

Ten or so years ago sports games often had import face features, but I doubt even then that was on consoles and it hasn't been seen in years
Though I think that makeup thing could be made rather well in game. Just modify size and colour of certain parts on your face.
I think CDPR will have to make allowaces for community created content to allow for all the stuff everyone wants...
Has anyone mentioned APB Reloaded yet? It's like a GTA/Saints Row online that... for what I've read hasn't got much more good qualities other than character customization which IS fucking dope. Anyone tried it? What's your opinion? It also looks pretty cyberpunk as you have punk and spoiled rich criminals and also corporate police that dress in style.
