confirmedWe basically made a choice between offering many more or less superficial options, or to choose three that we can actually make interesting and meaningful. Your lifepath won't just decide how you start the game and what your background is, but it can also influence the rest of the game however you choose - but that does not mean that choosing a lifepath forces you into any way of playing the game.
Do you want to play a street kid who grew up in the city surrounded by gangs that then chooses to betray her heritage and work with the corpos? Go ahead, and the game will react to it.
So I hope this will be really exciting in terms of roleplaying. We're working hard to make it as cool as possible!
What is removed exactly? It's all been removed
we have now, Street Kid, Corpo, and Nomad
confirmed
The general look of male V is rather common for male video game protagonists. White, brown or black hair, short hair or buzzcut, strong jaw, stubble/5 o'clock shadow. Why?
People keep saying he's generic, but other than the fact that he's a dude and white, I don't see what's generic about him. He's got a pretty sick hairstyle, he's got some cool earrings. I dunno. I think he looks much more unique than other dudebro protagonists.
Female V looks pretty similar to a lot of other female characters in games, too. Short, punky hair style, pretty eye shadow. The general look of male V is rather common for male video game protagonists. White, brown or black hair, short hair or buzzcut, strong jaw, stubble/5 o'clock shadow.
They all look like they're related to Commander Shepard.
Commander shepard doesn’t have a canon or default look and the same goes for your character in cyberpunk. You make your own character canon and everything else is just advertisementThe general look of male V is rather common for male video game protagonists. I thought female V looked fairly unique, but that's just my take.Female V looks pretty similar to a lot of other female characters in games, too. Short, punky hair style, pretty eye shadow.
And anyway, I posted that a long time ago, I think.
In the next gameplay they will show a new version because there isnt a fixed model. Its not important how advertisement characters look like they are just presetsFemale V looks pretty similar to a lot of other female characters in games, too. Short, punky hair style, pretty eye shadow.

I doubt we'll get any major tweaks to female V's design. In the next gameplay they will show a new version because there isnt a fixed model. Its not important how advertisement characters look like they are just presets
There is nothing canonical on these presets so they will show different models and also there is no default or anything like that so make your own picture how the character should look like this is the point of the advertisement models and the reason why character creation is a major partI doubt we'll get any major tweaks to female V's design.
Her design was largely well but received for one, most people seemed to like it. On that note I'd place my eddies on the devs going with a, "If it a'int broke, don't fix it" approach to her character design
In more recent images of her she also still looked the same, unlike male V, who has gone through a couple changes between 2018 and 2019. She doesn't seem to be a work-in-progress, unlike the male version.
Male V likely had his design changed because some people have been griping about him being too generic since 2018.
(I was cool with his original design, for the record)
Imagine being all covered in glowing stuff and a soft glow blanketing your surroundings and then you notice someone following you. You take a turn into a dimly lit crowed and all your glow-mods go dark and your cloaking kicks in... bad guys are like "WHERE DID THEY GO?" *WACK* you knock them out with the back of your gun from behind them. Pssh... Nothing personnel.I can't stop imagining my character with Techhair, light tattoos and a transparent coat able to see my tattoos glowing..
I need it.

Same.Anyway I'll lose my first 10 hours of gameplay just into that customization menu.
There is no default but if you mean the showcase model from the gameplay trailer i would prefer a female character with long hair but still male v is the most bad a*Default V. She looks cool and hot.
Will I be able to play as the exact girl pictured in my avatar? There is no default but if you mean the showcase model from the gameplay trailer i would prefer a female character with long hair but still male v is the most bad a*
