Character Naming Issues

+
Funnily enough, I think most people when they turn their attention inwards and ask "who am I" they might offer the label of their name, but it's not really who they are per se. I think it's more important that the character is addressed as "you" than by a specific name. When playing, you want to to feel like the characters are talking to you directly from the screen.

How much more of a burden on the voice actors would it be to if we had a range of 10 or so different names, different gender options and different class names....

You know what, I think characters should have to earn their own name. If you get to a certain point in the game, then you could be addressed by your social status, as opposed to a pronoun. Wash, rinse, repeat the same style used in this fine forum?

Whoa.... deja vu....
