Females is underrated,
at least one of main reason I buy a game is the female.

See Tomb Raider 2013 sales and go figure.

POSSibly TR 2013 sold well because it was a good game, not merely because, or mainly because, the lead was a woman.

After all, the previous Tomb Raider's did poorly, if I recall correctly.

Tomb Raider sold well because it had fun gameplay, not because of Laura or her story which was, as usual, a cheap TV ripoff. Most action game writers just can't seem to rise above that.

Spec Ops the Line. Quite a good story although not original,of course. Still, not a cheap ripoff.

I kind of dug the story premise behind the new tomb raider... until people got their panties in a bunch over it...

I'm playing it now. Seems like fun. Lacking in cyberware.

Picked it up on Steam with few euros. Story seemed nice unfortunately the gameplay was so bloody boring that I managed only few hours before I wanted to hurt myself and gave up :S

Thats how I felt about Deus Ex HR.... I made it through, but the story was just meh.........the little side bits were so much more interesting then the whole save the world crap.

Out of curiosity, was I the only one that chose the BIG red button at the end?

I didn't even bother to make a choice... fuck that game. So much potential, so much wankery bullshit.

As there's a save immediately beforehand, I thought it was pretty standard for everyone to go through all four.
Anyway, it wasn't really a choice, as it was a prequel so the outcome is fixed and known. It was a judgement. Adam's forecast is wrong regardless of which choice he takes.

Yeah, I picked the one that dumped the info out. Which of course the Illuminato promptly suppressed.

I imagine my Jensen is still alive, still operating out there. Somewhere.

Stabbing people.

You know what, I never even once used a fatal takedown... I just knocked them out and double tapped the head...

I liked the fatal takedowns. The grab-head-snap-neck one was great. Also the twin kills from behind with the blades. Uness they saw you coming and opened up on Deus Ex mode. Owie.

Damn that game was fun. Think I'll play some when I get home.

Why? the double tapping I mean... it's not like they were going to ever get back up anyway.
