Exactly. Most of the authors create a good story, but if you thought about what possibly the characters are doing in daily life, you couldn´t think of any. Actually, most people don´t think about it because it´s not the point, and you don´t read fantasy for wondering about characters´ free time, but it´s fine to find out that a fantasy world has a certain coherence and it´s not just a place where heroic deeds take place.
A plaboy cover with Triss has been shown today in the CDPR Spring Conference. I cannot be sure, because it was the polish take (english will begin in a few hours) but I think is part of the marketing campaign, maybe it is a real cover from the polish Playboy.I didnt like it very much

I have seen only the above shown pic (still waiting for the presentation in English). Let's wait and see, I only hope they don't overdo with this type of marketing otherwise every dumbass on the globe will just label TW2 immature without even trying the game; if you notice everytime someone brings up TW1 in other gaming forums sone "idiot" who hasn't even played it comes out saying that it's full of nude cards as if the entire game was all about sex... sigh
Mmmm, I have lunch and discussed this a bit with my girl, and I still don't like it. And I'm not talking about the art of the cover, but the fact himself. I think almost here we are quite happy with the evident sexiness the game is emanating, specially form the Triss character (also Geralt himself). Quite proud of the madurity of the product, that use sex scenes as part of the story, to explain character's feelings, motifs or traits. None (or few) of us are scared of nudity. And everyone likes eye candies. But I suspect that the playboy cover is more related with selling the game. In other words, they are using sex (and not in a subtle way) to sell his product. Dont missunderstand me, I dont think this affect at all to the final quality of the game, because probably it is just a part of the marketing campaign, even locally restrited (Poland). Just saying that I dont like this (minor) detail. Anyway lets wait to the english talk for more info (or a kind polish soul that explain us exactly what they said in the talk). Maybe i will have to eat my words (and I will gladly do).
You may find this odd, but many people buy Playboy magazine to actually read the articles. If they actually have a full article about TW2 in Playboy magazine I think that's awesome. People might read what a good game it is and buy the game.

I would have been happy if they'd had, say, Carmen, on the cover of Playboy. But Triss is a dignified character; it's hard to imagine her voluntarily posing nude for a magazine. Posing nude for selected friends, sure ... but not for the masses.
For what I am reading in some sites, this is only marketing and the game seem to treat things in a mature way, so far so good I guess.
