Sapkowski depicted his world very well, without any fantasy cliches. There are many emotions and personal feelings which influence characters´ behaviour more than just sence of duty (you know, when someone is acting in a way just because everyone expect him/her to) he was also more open about sexuality in general which is a good thing, it adds a spark to a story and it´s certaily more believable. I must again agree, that her new suit is nice and makes a perfect impression of her as a not typical sorceress with provocative and only good-to-look dressess... and if she looks this awesome in a suit, there is much to look forward to without it :D

I think it's that he treats sex as casual, more like a positive, relaxed human attitude towards it, than the melodrama that's usually associated with it in fantasy. It's also nice to see a female character depicted as just as lusty as the males. Far too many heroines in fiction are beautiful, seductive AND virgins, as if every one of them needs to be a perfect male fantasy. And yes, from the screenshots we've seen, i do sense we're going to see Triss's naked behind in this one.

Exactly my point :D sex is a normal and beautiful part of life, so why should be any difference in a fantasy world. And considering how long sorceresses (and sorceres) and witchers live, it´s absolutely understandable they have many experiences and desires about it :D Reminds me of many stories when the most exciting (erotic) moment between main couple was a handshake or a deep look in the eyes, come on!! :D

As an aspiring fantasy novelist myself, one of the earlier things I decided on was how to handle sexuality in my work. In the most base term, it's far too tempting not to have fun with it when you have strange races, otherworldly beings and the sort, if none of them have realistic urges. And to be honest, if we lived in a world with svelt Elven women, devlishly handsome warriors and naked faeries roaming the forests; no one could deny they'd be interested in getting between the sheets with half of them.

Ohh may i ask you to send me some of your work ?? (if you already written something, or when you will) if you don´t mind of course. I would be very interestied in any new ideas and stories, of course I don´t wanna judge or something like that I just absolutely love fantasy and I would be more than eager to read it.

Different people, different taste, and it´s dull to presume that other races should look at sex as we do. It´s a fantasy literature after all, so why use our imagination only for appearances and abilities? And to be honest, if we lived in a world with svelt Elven women, devlishly handsome warriors and naked faeries roaming the forests; no one could deny they'd be interested in getting between the sheets with half of them.

Of course, be happy to. And yes, writing actually is my profession so I have a lot of work about. As far as the fantasy is concerned, I've written about twenty short stories of varying length, and about twenty thousand words into the first novel set in the same world.

Maybe we can start an Aspiring Authors thread in the Community section. Triss might get jealous if we hijack her thread, and a jealous sorceress is a dangerous thing! :)

The Triss thread has gone awfully quiet, she'd be more angry with no attention than negative attention.

I don't post here much, but I have to say I totally fell in love with Triss in the first game. She's just so strong and independent. She's important and powerful and elegant. And she totally "gets" Geralt. She understands him in a way I think no one else can. Plus she's bloody gorgeous (I'm a sucker for red heads - am one myself). Now I know that all the books or whatever that I haven't read have Geralt in love with some other woman, but as far as I'm concerned Triss is the only one for him!
