Characters you wished had more exposure?

Aside from Triss/Yen/Ciri/the final act.

As fantastic as the game was, some of the secondary or periphery characters would have been cooler if they had more quests or interactions. Johnny is my number one for this -- it wasn't enough for me simply getting his voice. I need a whole game playing with that beautiful Godling.

The King of Beggars was another. I was absolutely blown away by the atmosphere of Novigrad; a city veneered with vibrance and colour, matched only by its gritty undertone of poverty and crime. It was a stark contrast from the vast and bare region of Velen, and the King of Beggars culminated this. The quest of tailing thieves and interacting with beggars just feel really intriguing, there's clearly something more going on than the small gated shack you end up in for two minutes before he disappears again. More on Novigrad's criminal underground - magnifying in on the mystery that surrounded it would have been excellent.

Who else would you guys like to have seen more of? I'm sure I have more that I'll no doubt remember very soon.

Cerys

I absolutely loved her.

The Van Attre Sisters

Awesome girls all round.

And I would have liked A LOT more Nilfgaard content.

And may the Eternal Fire forgive me, Emperor Emhyr.

Ugh, I feel horrible having even said that.

Definetely would have liked more quests involving the Novigrad underground King of Beggars stuff... Maybe a final stand off between the three remaining instead of you know...

The Van Atree sisters thresome was sorely missed. jk, maybe, but more quests with them...

More Zoltan and Dandelion.

More quests with the three witchers.

More Voorhis.

Tamara's witch hunter friend, he is like the only 'nice' and interesting witch hunter in the entire game.

Hmm. He seemed sympathetic to an extent but he was still pretty insistent Tamara stay with him and not her mother. Definitely the most nuanced of the Witch Hunters.

Haha, the teasing was unreal. I was certain Geralt was getting some. :(
Voorhis is an interesting call, I didn't like him nor find him too interesting. A political based quest or more interactions with the war itself and the tactics would definitely have been appreciated, including more Radovid as CostinRaz suggests. Maybe Toussaint expansion will deal with similar issues?

Was surprised the King of Beggars didn't play any major role later after his speech when you meet him. Maybe a hint for the first dlc.But yeah, would like to see more of him. Was pretty interesting.
Eredin, Caranthir, Imlerith, Gheels (yeah, I consider them all secondary characters, considering how little screentime they have)

The King of Beggars and his underground fight against the Temple authorities could have been a huge sub-plot. It would be easy to tie in his content with Triss and Dandelion, since they both ran afoul of the Temple and witch hunters. Plus, we know from W2 that Dandelion has a spy/revolutionary streak in him, and it would fit his character perfectly to get involved with the KoB.

Roche and Ves show up very little- there is only one quest focused on them and a few about Radovid. They were great characters in W2, and I would like to see more from them. The fight against Nilfgaard and the political tensions with the Redanians could lead to all sorts of plots.

Voorhis and Ambassador var Attre in Novigrad- Nilfgaardian representatives in a neutral but north-leaning city would be involved in all sorts of things. They could be attempting to gain influence with the criminal bosses or subvert the city authorities. There should be someone behaving a bit more like Fitz-Osterlen from Witcher 2.

Basically I want more political conspiracies- the sorts of things Geralt hates but always gets caught up in.

I would have liked a bit more closure on the Bloody Baron.

Like the fact he's joined the Temerian Resistance after his wife left him again or something.

Or that she will remain mentally invalid forever.

Or whatnot.

Eredin, Imlerith, Caranthir + maybe some other Wild Hunt soldiers/officers.
Apart from that, definitely Priscilla - especially that after killing her would-be-murderer the game denies us any kind of closure on her, even at the very end of the game.

Definitely! And what was it all about him coughing constantly... the devs must have had something in their mind for him.

Most characters I really liked had a decent amount of exposure except Voorhis I thought. He was a really cool dude.

I am really intrigued that most of you,see that my man voorhes needs more love he seemed a really great character and not featured prominentle enough, same as Graden, tamaras witchhunter, it would have been a way sweeter plot if it was him instead of Menge, which was only a black and white fanatic... King of Beggars I expected more too after his speech when you meet him... Also liked that Herbalist in White Orchard she seemed interesting enough or the general from white orchard, he had a great humor., Thaler as well shame that he is only in the game for such a short time, like ves and roche.

But most important of all is that guy that always wants to duel you for the Honor of Lady Milfberry, he was just so fun shame I had to kill him. I want him to life and meet lady milfberry the greatest of them all.
