Chicago Gone Wrong

hello chooms!! thank you Mike Pondsmith and his innovative team bringing us Cyperpunk !! I love playing the game and am especially fond of Judy , Panam and the Aldecados!!
Am truly excited to the future of Cybperunk 2 and what it has to offer the gaming community.
some thoughts came to mind for some really cool ideas to incorporate into the new Chicago gone Wrong theme.
including the ethnic groups:
first of all, Chicago is rich in infrastructure, gang lore and ethnic groups.
1. CHINATOWN . is a huge part of the community in Chicago. now given the Maglev trans system that will and has been hinted in Cyberpunk 2077, the Maglev high speed train system will bridge Night City and the new city ( Motown - good name for a new city). within Chinatown, there is the Chiquoing city district that is a metropolis having multi level systems and rich in game lore (think Chinese New Year, the Triads and Tong gangs, and the on the Chicago river where Chinatown can delploy river craft as transport..

2. Little Italy and Little Sicily. the Italian connection to Chicago
3. Ukranian Village for a different flavor
4. Greektown where the Messiah faction operate out of.
5. the Mexican and Puerto Rican connections of Chicago where the Mexicans are high rollers and offer a different blend of gang and lifestyles.
6. the Indian nomadic clan on the Eastern side of Lake Michigan.
7. Korean town
8. little Ireland
9. African village
10. Sleepy Hollow ( where the accursed Vampiric nocturnal nomads reside). ** approach with extreme caution **
all these ethnic groups are actually on the Chicago map,


it would be fun also, when you kill an enemy, for instance, you are able to loot the weapons, ammo, and other useful items from the deceased. How about allowing us to loot the clothing and cybernetics as well? this will give the player a chance to loot clothing items that will fit perfectly for their V character in particular, the joytoy clothing articles, and other clothing that is not available at the Clothier stores.

also, the buildings of the John Hancock center ( stormtech), the Sears tower can be used for say, Cytech, the Willis tower could be home to another corpo giant, and the best is the correctional center that stands about 40 stories tall housing the most notorious criminals........

and how about implementing the Midieval Times where your V or new protagonist can pit their strength, honor and win lots of eddies fighting other ruffians? (same as when V as a side gig fights the 2 ''twin brothers'' and beats the snot out of them..

and Goose Island is where an external faction resides ( the island is surrounded by water). think an impassable moat of sorts and another Dogtown atmosphere.


the beginning of the new Cyberpunk might begin like this:

in a flashback or flash foward, V in a DREAM, sees the AI uprisal and all AIs are going bereserk, (think I Robot), and in V's dream, he or she is commissioned by a shadowy figure to decommission the AIs by spiking or infusing a virus into the AI hardrive of the Mother computer found in a remote badlands in Chicago. sort of liek Joshua in the Wargames movie, V is her dream sequence infiltrates the building uploading the virus and barely escapes the lab with the help of newfound friends, the Hellz Angelz, a biker nomadic clan that has strong ties to the Aldecados. in the closing seqeunce of the dream, V or the new protaganist wakes up and finds out the dream is ....... ...... real !!! V gets the urge to check her computer, and has an encrpyted message .... go to the Chinese restaurant ouiside of her apartment...
....and upon opening a fortune cookie, a message reads: your mission ( like in her dream) is to infiltrate the mother computer where it is steathliy located in the badlands of Chicago and .... well you know the rest....... and the new adventure begins .....

All of the world building ideas look absolutely amazing!!
The dream sequence surely sounds interesting, although it seems pretty cliche as well.

hello again, chooms!! so many ideas swirling around as i play Cyperpunk...
as far as life paths are concerned,... how about introducing a new life path? this one can be viewed as Military brat. this is where the protagonist actually grows up in a Military family ( think Arasaka, Militech, Stormtech, Cytech or even NUSA itself. and this new V character will as a member of the military family of chose will learn military combat, weapons training, espionage and more military related things.

and for another Nomadic clan life path it can include being part of the Hellz Angelz or Hellz Disciples if you may. this nomadic clan are bikers, infactuated with the concepts of miliary tactics, military combat, weapons, explosives and fortifications and assassination methods....

yes, chicago was once a proud city, but then was hit hard by the plague or Ebola virus and other nasty viruses that we either being experimented on, improved upon or even developed by NUSA itself. deep within the bowels of the University of Chicago where the labs were, the experiments went haywire, and the viruses were unleashed upon the Chicago populace. hundreds of thousands were doomed in the subsequent days and months,... not to mention the war between Arasaka and Militech brought much devastation to Chicago bringing Chicago to its knees.
then after the fallout subsided a bit Stormtech came in heavily investing to rebuild Chicago back to its glory days. Cytech then came also to bring much needed relief to the Chicago area.

now, with the idea of Chicago being the new playground for our new protagonist, im thinking and envisioning along with the continued strife that is gripping Chicago, you can have :

1. an AI uprisal or revolt. that's right, like I Robot, the Ais (think Arasaka , Militech robotic droids, smaller, to massive in size that actually rise up against the people . the Ais kill and unleash an extreme prejudice against the humans, their creators....

ok, robots or AI, are droids, simply put, the droids take direction from the humans, in the sense that the droids or bots are pre-progammed with a series of commands in which the droids obey. simple commands like assist, protect, work together, do remedial tasks ..... is what formulates the droids. that all the droids know, up until NOW.

the droids have NO .... FREE WILL. Free will is when someone has the rationalization to think for themselves, do whatever they desire when they want to, where they want to, and to whom they want to do it to.

the humans are the ones that think they have a preprogammed droid that will obey them... are the humans dead wrong.....
behind the heinous interjections of the droids' minds, is the all knowing, all seeing, and ALL wise Mother of all AIs. lets name this Mother computer, .... GENESYS.

this Ai like Joshua in the Wargames movies, take over and intercedes the memory cores of the AIS and give the droids ... FREE WILL .....

This is where the Ais uprise and revolt in an alarming manner, much like the apes in Planet of the Apes, and this is where the AIs, want to and can possibly succeed in enslaving the human race, starting in Chicago, the Chicago gone wrong ......

and this where the new protaganist comes in .... to stop the uprisal of the AIS, infiltrate the base where the Mother computer is, and try to upload an killer virus meant to destroy the collectiveness of the AIs, shutting the AIs down once and for all.......and bring the AIs back to having no free will at all. just have to destroy the Mother Ai computer some how.

now, for the Chicago , or new playground is concerned, the new protagonist upon entering the new city, has to as a prerequisite get an vaccinated serum to protect themselves of any lingering affects of the remaining viral conditions. and every 24 hours the vaccine has to be re-administered to protect the new protaganist . the new protaganist must visit a ripperdoc and get vaccinated ( and purchase serum vials to take every 24 hours or visit a ripperdoc every 24 hours to effectively suppress the effects of any lingering virus that is lingering about).

so, there will be actually 2 missions to undertake:
1. to rebuff the Ai uprisal
2. find a cure for the virus and help save the new Chicago...

AND finally, like Judy and Panam helped V in some of her quests, how about having a COMPANION, sort of a permanent kind that is always by your side ( comprised and made through your life path choice)

yes, having a companion can be beneficial... if not from the get go of the game, or perhaps in the middling acts you can have the choice of having a companion , one that you can customize with their looks, hair, body style, and facial features too.

as far as character creation, the use of sliders is much more relevant. the sliders makes it more customized in the way you can make the toons chest size (breast if you may) very dainty insequential near flat chested small ... to the biggest that you choose to do). , then regulate the thickness of the arms, legs, chest, torso, feet, hands, etc. to having really long hair, with bangs,. no bangs parted in the middle or parted to the sides... and have an array of eye colors, tattoos, scars ....

this is great for having the Unreal 5 engine as a tool to do exactly what you want to when making your new protagonist come to life.

also to expand on the ethnic groups, ... the Koreans, Irish and Africans comprise Chicago neighborhoods too !!
so with so many ethnic factions, ( 9 to be exact) Chicago gone wrong is really ripe for gang violence, gang hostilities, and major conflicts between the commoners, the nomadic clans ( Aldecados, Coronados (the nomads from Mexico, and South America), and the biker gangs ( Hellz Disciplez, Guardian Angelz)....
the new protagonist has so many options at his or her fingertips, and can make new contacts to help him or her along the way in their new adventures.

was also thinking of having your new protagonist being ambidextrious,.... having 2 weapon fighting, f or instance, fighting with 2 katanas, or swords, 2 pistols ... how awesome wiill that be, particularly fighting with 2 katanas !!

and a new weapon can be like a M16, or AR 15 with a grenade launcher attached to the under belly of the rifle.....

morning chooms!! another thought came to me as i was playing Cyberpunk last night.... while we can drive any vehicle in the game, how about.. .......... the opportunity to pilot a boat ( small water craft) since the Chicago river cuts right through Chicago itself? Piloting a small water craft would be cool, right?

and within Chicago itself, like in Cyberpunk 2077, you can have weather changes like :
1, summer time storms like tornadoes, thunderstorms, etc.
2. winter time storms like light snow fall, blizzards, ice storms etc.

in retrospect to the AI uprisal, when the AIs go berserk, the Ais can include:
1. AI arasaka, militech bots
2. service droids
3. motor cars like how the Damien car service went off line and tried to take out V in Phantom Liberty.
