Chippin' In DPS Smart Weapon Bug

There is a bug where your DPS on all "Smart Weapons" will get cut in half or even more. It only happens with "Smart Weapons". after the cutscene in the side quest "Chippin' In". It will happen to all "Smart Weapons" both in my backpack and my apartment storage. Ive notice this happen to other people, but nobody is talking about it. Screenshots are showing DPS before and after the cutscene.

my issue was smart weapons no longer tracked enemies, i was on this mission but just got a legendary cyberware for the smart guns and thought it was that. i did not have the same issue as you but i dropped the weapon i wanted to use and picked it up and now it works fine. might want to try that.

In Chippin in quest, you get a tattoo and this tattoo replaces your targeting system. You need to go to a ripperdoc and change it to smart link again.
