Very nice, it looks like something straight from TW1. Do you mind sharing where you got that from? :)

It's from "The Price of Neutrality", CDPR included it in the enhanced edition of TW1 as an adventure of its own.

The girl on the picture is not Ciri, but Deidre Ademeyn.
Deidre seems to have been inspired by the character Renfri from Sapkowski's books .

If you ever heard of the incident at Blaviken in the Witcher, Renfri was involved in that.

I wanted to share this with all of you for V-Day, to show a little love for what CDPR has created but I got home later than expected.

This is a first peek at the fan project I'm working on at the moment.
As many of you know I just started with it a few days ago, so please overlook the unfinished left side of
the map around the pillars. I still have to create torches, debris, crates and other details for it.

Hope you like it.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask - but I might not have any answers yet !

You'll find it in TW1 at the same spot, who knows how long it kept laying there.

I thought about that too.
I'm not done with her character design yet, so that will probably change.

Wow, some cirious adventuring is coming in the future. I feel intrigued :)

Do you use any platform like RPG Maker as your base?

I use GML, because it has a scripting language similar to Java which I learned to use at university, and can easily port projects to other platforms: you can make it a normal standalone, run in a browser or on mobile platforms.

All systems are built from scratch, I have some routine in developing such mechanics.
And I like creative freedom, so its great to do anything you want.

Coding doesn't take long, what does is making the sprites pixel by pixel, especially animations.

:p

isn't Ciri's hair really light blonde? like Alvin

and not completely white like how some fanart portrays her.

It's ash blonde, so it's more white/grey than "yellow" blonde.

"Ash blond" is not grey or white; it is a very light, almost colorless blond. The pictures @guipit posted are accurate if "ash blond" is the correct description of her hair.

In English, Ciri's hair is described as "ashen", which is almost or exactly the same thing. Even if I knew the words used to describe her hair in Polish, I would not know the connotations.

Marta Bitner, who played Ciri in the TV series, is a perfect example of "ashen" hair.

Ciri is not grey or white, she is blonde. Guy has it right. Ash blonde is still blonde. I get slightly annoyed at seeing Ciri depicted with white hair. That isn't accurate at all. Ash blonde is still the same blonde you see with many Scandinavians.

In book, her hair was described like mouse color, and also ash. Always thought, that she had gray color.

http://www.sapkowski.pl/modules.php?op=modload&name=Companion&file=index&func=pos#Ciri

"jasne, mysiopopielate włosy" - light, mouse-ash hair
"popielatoszare włosy" - ash-gray hair

I'm not sure if ash-gray hair qualify as blonde, but then I'm male, so I know nothing about colors anyway :p

Okay, I have only one question. How is this part from 'Blood of Elves' written in the original polish version:

"From beneath an ash-blonde fringe, poorly and unevenly cut, enormous emerald eyes - the predominant features in a small face with a narrow chin and upturned nose - stared out at her. There was fear in the eyes"

Because from the English and Bulgarian translations that I've read, I was left with the impression that Ciri's hair is a very pale blond, close to gray. The artwork on all the book covers seems to suggest that as well.

Also, Galahad in the Lady of the Lake was bewildered by her unusual hair color and didn't think she was human because of it and her fair appearance - something I don't think blonde hair would cause on the British Isles. I'm definitely on the "Ciri is very, very, very light blonde to not quite gray with practically no yellow to speak of" team.

"spod popielatej, nierówno i nieładnie obciętej grzywki patrzyły ogromne, szmaragdowozielone oczy, dominujący akcent w małej twarzyczce o wąskim podbródku i lekko zadartym nosku"

Her hair is described here simply as ashen, nothing indicates it's blonde. (Popiół = ash.)
