Ciri in Cyberpunk

+
Ciri has never been confirmed to be in the game. The only thing that suggests she might be is the (in)famous easter egg in Witcher 3 -- from 2015 or whenever it was put in the game during development. The Game Director has said he doesn't want Ciri in the game, and that they are not joining universes.

Those are facts.

(I still hope there will be no sign of her in the game. She doesn't belong there and, frankly, I had enough of her in Witcher 3.)

Maybe some girl transformed herself to look like Ciri? Wticher Comics and Books must be in NIght City too.

It would be incredible to see Ciri in the game but i find it unlikely. Maybe a Witcher medallion will be find lying around.

I'll gladly say (write) it again as strong evidence points to Ciri not appearing: just attempt to make your character look like Ciri and do or add a bit of head canon or imagination.

Likely the closest you will get, not counting potential player mods that add Ciri as "companion" of sorts, or quest giver, etc.

If they add Ciri I demand a cop lifepath or NCPD ties :D

This game will have a ton of side quests. A quick Ciri mission wouldn't distract from the greater story and world going on. I hope they do it, but I also wouldn't want them to spoil the surprise. My dream scenario is that they've planned a Ciri side quest since day one, and are just letting the players find out for themselves by staying quiet.

This wont happen. I want to be able to 100% the game without breaking immersion.

Just have Ciri stay in the Witcher universe. Why does she need to be in cyberpunk?

How would you like it if characters from cyberpunk appeared in the next witcher game? It doesnt make sense.

Technically anything is possible. Opinions change and such, but it seems unlikely, given what's been said. The most we can probably hope for as far as a Witcher reference goes is a unique katana named disglair or something.

For a cameo I would personally prefer Gaunter O'Dimm. He could even look different, just with the same voice actor and another name referencing Stephen King's Man in Black character.

your ignoring the fact that they have officially stated that she wont be in the game and dont want to have her in it as dont want to have connections between 2 universes. they want them to remain completely independent games

Yeah normally CDPR hedges with answers if they arent fairly sure. In this case, Adam Badowski (CP2077 game director) said:

I hate this question. We are not Kingdom Hearts ... We are not joining universes, and I know that there are a lot of fans on the team and they would like to have Ciri in the game. But I am totally against it, still.

I see a glimmer of hope in this response.

Trololo no hopes sees. Only soup makes.

What makes you think so?

Braindance about Witcher maybe or something like that?

I think it would be so cool if they hired some pornmodel for gamescom, especially after Keanu. We keep losing girls at this pace, this is bro game for sure.

Ciri in Witcher 3 describe any sci-fi setting not cyberpunk 2020/2077 specifically, CDPR is alone blame for putting that easter egg, in game and people are blame for taking that for granted.

In the end if they want they can always make some female NPC to look like Ciri with different name and be vendor lady or prostitute or cop and so on.

Yes, I am ignoring this. How would you answer the "is Ciri in the game?" question if the intent was to surprise fans with her appearance? Anything but an outright denial would be interpreted as an outright confirmation. I'm sure if someone asked in February "hey CDPR is Keanu in Cyberpunk?" they'd probably say "no lol why would you ask that."

I wasn't here to guarantee or even predict anything. I'm saying I'd want Ciri in the game, because I trust 2077 has enough content to not be distracted from the greater universe by one sidequest. Especially if said sidequest is well-done and enjoyable for Witcher fans and non-fans alike.

Yeah but with other important characters from CP2020 lore, they've been much less direct.

Prior to E3 2019, you didn't seem them saying "Johnny Silverhand died in 2024, and I know that there are a lot of fans on the team and they would like to have Johnny in the game. But I am totally against it, still." Nah. They just didn't commit one way or the other ... despite being asked about it.
