I am having a great time in the game to begin with! It looks stunning and runs smooth (PC) after some tweaks and overclocking and all.

And I have already defended the point that there's no barbers, hair saloons, tatto shops or ways to change our appearance in game atm as I am sure it will eventually come and bc I myself don't have any problem with that at this time.

BUT, a small detail such as being naked IN THE WORLD when you're naked in the inventory OR to see your actual clothes on yourself in the world the same as you wear in the inventory is such big of a detail I can't help but to have to point it out!

Edit: when I tried photo mode now for the first time I saw that we're shown as we look in the inventory when choosing clothes but as seen its not what's represented from our point of view in real time and it may not be the end of the world or take away the fact that I absolutely love the game: but it is very disappointing and really wasn't expected in a RPG of this calibre.

I understand the shortcut of excluding the time it would have taken to animate each specific long-sleeved merch but tbh: this detail was totally assumed and expected, ESPECIALLY when we're locked in a FP view and minimal overall view of our avatar.. I expect this detail will be added some time around multiplayer release but then again: dare I expect anything?

Other than that I really enjoy everything and can be humble and understanding some other things in the game.
No hate CDPR! <3<3<3

I very much agree, I notice with some clothing there are also some slight texture clippings and other little things going on with the textures of the clothes that seem like they shouldn't be. I was honestly kinda hoping for more customization such as making custom tattoos and maybe even clothes with your own wording and artwork?

Personally I feel more and more games that come out they lose features such as customization to that certain extent where you can put anything you want on your shirt or whatever.

Another thing would be like putting glasses or tech-goggles on forehead going along with other misc. things such as zipping jackets, putting hoods up, and even undressing when you shower. I thought you would be able to examine clothes, Even with weapons I thought you would be able to examine and look at them and customize them more but I guess not. ( ◕ ʖ̯ ◕ )

I finally found a long sleeve undershirt to go with my tactical vest, and noticed that in the first person view I still have no sleeves.

How is this even possible? 8 years of development!!!!!

You really nailed it there buddy! Thats definitely something so basic and simple yet incredibly revolutionary they easily could have put into the game!
I have spent countless of hours the last 3-4 mounths in Escape From Tarkov and has really gotten accustomed to the amount of free choice such as free head movement when ever, to name a fraction of what they've done.. I even clicked the same button, middle mouse, a couple of times, sending nades all around me -_-

I'd really love those options you mentioned in the game! Like sliding the glasses up or down (while also changing the shading of your view just as in EFT when pushing a button)

It's clear, the game disables a lot of things on the character model when we are in first person. It's why hair do not cast shadows, and our character isn't reflected on surfaces.

Not good.

I could definitely had overseen something such as hair not obscuring half of the view on screen bc reasons not needing an explanation but its all such a shame because even though yes the graphics and look in the world is breathing and impressive its also pretty much unnatural to how we do see real life with all glares and glooms and lack of detail in shadows because the focus was set on the size and constant flow of a big open world without loading screens while avoiding or skip entirely what IS natural, authentic, in many many older games and to many of us totally expected.

With a risk of sounding whiny, I'd prefer what ever % reduced of the world/settings if that would have meant they could have focused on these missing things bc they're a huge pile of nasty smudgy dung on the beautiful canvas.

It'd be great to be able to hide slots b/c man there are some goofy looking helmets in Night City.

Ha I just recently sold my account for such hate of the game, I hope to make a big enough commotion on the forums about the immersion and this subject in specific to the point they add those features. Was also sad that you can't turn V's head wherever you want in Photo Mode only towards the camera like, why just the camera?

Haha I don't blame you! I've never felt so miserable from a game like I've felt from EFT. But on the other hand I haven't felt so free and damn amazing each win as in EFT and even though BSG really goes their totally independent and original way to craft the game and experience I'm having hope for what it eventually will become with the vision for it they have. But it may flop like nothing before too since its a obvious reason the closest we've come to a game that is with STALKER, METRO, RUST and some similar ones. We'll see. =)

But indeed, there was so much room for "next gen game", "groundbreaking mechanics" and "revolutionary control and experience" here but so far it really "just" is a crazy beautiful looking beast on crutches.. how ever I can not go to the extent and say I am extremely disappointed with it because overall I am not.. not like with many other new games..

But this have apparently become the new normal for us gamers: we get hyped up about what ever next big aaa release they have and then we pre-order and buy a 50-80% of a game hardly working and never are we being listened too since people get blocked all over the place and while the microtransaction store gets regularly updated they ignore the rest.. yes we're talking MW and BF5 here as the BIGGEST snakes..

Never wanted to think or experience anything near those experiences with CDPR.. =(

This must be a joke.. I just got the clever idea to bind "i" to my mouse button 4 since I'm constantly going in and out from inventory but both F and I was apparently something someone figured to be real clever to hide from the player.. now my question to accountable for this fact: is it your experience or my experience when I play the game? If you don't want it changed on your end then leave it to default but don't take away my ability to adjust the game for my overall improvement of an experience...

If I were :D this Thursday I was :) yesterday and now I'm -_-

I wonder what I will become aware of next bc I'm sure it'll be something so may very well expect more

Anyone can sound whiny at this point but there really has been a super low bar set in the past few years for recent releases but imo you don't sound whiny. But even a game like RDR2 get it right with hats and changing the contrast on the screen when you put one on, having long hair you can still see the shadow cast by it and the hat, GTAV as well does the same with hats and sunglasses plus motorcycle helmets/visors.

Yeah its definitely mind boggling how so many basic functions and options are missing. Just got confirmed in a youtuber's review that his V also show up as bald in mirrors when having anything on his head.

Things like this should not occur in a 8 year long multi-delayed AAA golden launch.

I love the game. I have (allthou less now) respect for CDPR and I KNOW the game will slowly be patched up to become the absolute best game of all times but they shot their own foot, then the other foot and one kneecap with how they handled this release.

What you don't want to look like you just left a Goodwill in 1982?

But really I hope they allow us to transfer the stats of one item into one that visually represents our character. And of course in-game tat parlors and barbers.

Arm cyberwear!
┐('~`; )┌

Though it would be nice if it kept the long sleeves if you didn't have any arm implants installed...

Would love to see the following:

1. It would be great to see what clothing looks like on, before buying at merchants.

2. Allow us to wear clothes for looks only (similar to outfit). Then I can equip clothing for stats in one place and looks in another. That way my V doesn't look like a clown half the time. :D
