Collaborative Story Time!!!!!!!!!

Let's make a collaborative story! So I'll start, someone else add something, then someone else, etc... Leave your post open ended so the next person has more to work off of, and don't write a novel every time you contribute... short-ish is what we're looking for. EXAMPLE (and start of the story)

Gregg often contemplates why he wasn't named Greg, but he always feels better when...

He drinks a gigantic glass of milk through his nose. He looks at his watch and realizes it's time to...

Go to yoga class. He gets up slowly when....

His Knock-off roomba explodes in a shower of sparks! There's a deafening crash of glass, Gregg looks to see...

. . . that Cyberpunk2077 still hasn't been released (which accounts for his robot's eccentric performance -- although the glass remains a bit of a mystery). Gregg is devastated and perplexed. He turns to his friend Claudde for advice . . .

...only to see his friend dead on the cold & wet asphalt floor, pooled in blood next to him. He gets up and looks around him shaking the giddiness out of his head wondering why he thought that his life is a video game called Cyberpunk 2077 when it is reality.

He looks up.
As the towers seem to penetrate the sky with a myriad of bright colors and neon lights. Remembering that he had just survived a shootout, he ran down the alley and out into the street.
