Collector's Edition Statue problems

Seems fine to me. Mine looks very similar. People complaining about Geralt's face and/or eyes should have a look at the CE cardboard. There it can be clearly seen that a more detailed/clearer version of the face is not advertised.

I'm quite content with my statue. :)
 
Bandai Namco Italy, responded kindly.
He will send me a new statue, and within a few days will show the photos.
 
So, any news? I havent posted my photos here but i have been tracking this thread recently, didnt give to many importance to my problems with the figurine but welp, i payed 150€ and after seeing the original photos now i feel dissapointed, i would like to get a better painted one, doesnt feel right from some photos that have been posted to what we have received.

You can notice that i have a broken feather and the hands seems to have been beated up and has a good scar on it that could have break it more, didnt take photo of the other side of the hand but you can imagine a little scar on it. The sword is black and yes im spanish, i noticed that all spanish people gets black swords.The face is just ok, but somehow it has some darker tone in the chin and beard that shouldnt, it looks like the one who painted didnt washed well the paintbrush.The feather can be put there but it fells really easy.

If you play with the shadows and get a little bit further its just ok but still.

Hell, i found the solution to all our problems. we have to find this little guy, he can heal broken things. Maybe even fix not even amateur painting.

I need Help too, got the same problem ...... was talking to Namco and tryed to get help from CDprojekt.....but no one seems to care....Amazon doestn even answer anymore :( EDIT: doenst have problems with the colouring mine is broken too!
 
Namco will eventually reply just takes them awhile. I believe they are trying to get hold of replacement statues.

Would be nice is CD projekt said how they were working with these issues though

Well to be honest, happens alot on mass produced figurines, may have been a cost cutting thing. I'm an IPMS member here in my country, and what I can tell you is, figurines that cost above +300usd are the ones that have usually "decent" paint jobs. If you can ask someone who does figure modelling to fix your model's paint job, that would be the only action I think that would satisfy your needs. I'f ever CDPR does market the figure they should rework it and fit the price to the quality expected. really sorry if your disappointed on the model

I understand that, but there are some issues that are unacceptable.

The sword completely black is one of them and some unpainted parts is another. We are not talking only about bad finishes ...

So now it's been weeks since I last heard from CD Project Red. I hope this is still on their agenda, as for many of us, the issue is far from resolved.
I still feel, that there should be somthing official, like CDPR did with TW2....
 
Just sent another email to Bandai Namco UK requesting an update on this, as it's again been over two weeks since their last email (in which they asked for confirmation of my address and said that they were expecting to receive the replacement statues last week...)
 
Still waiting for a reply too,i ended up phoning them a few weeks back as i heard nothing from 3 emails and got a reply kinda,they couldn't even get my name correct even though they used one of my emails as a reply /sigh useless company.
as adamhm said its been a couple of weeks since my reply,so will email them again over the weekend.
as for the link to youtube Eliwan posted,thats what it should have been,at this stage id be happy with anything other than a statue like mine.


edit: ive emailed cdpr and namco again /sigh

Anyone heard anything yet? been 2 weeks since they confirmed my address.
I get they are trying to get hold of replacement statues but would be nice to keep getting updates from them

I got a message from Bandai Namco today:

Apologies for our delayed response.
As we have received a number of notifications regarding issues with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Collector's Edition, we had placed an order for a shipment of replacement statues and waiting upon their arrival.
Rest assured we have now received delivery and your substitute has now been dispatched and will be with you shortly.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused and hope that you enjoy the statue.

Hoping for a good one but after seeing yours... :/
