Collectors Edition?

Apologies if the question has already been asked (I did a quick search of the forum without joy), but could someone confirm whether there is likely to be a collectors edition for TW2? If so (and I'm not sure I could be any more excited for this title), do we have anything in the way of detail? Many thanks.

That is something that would come out closer to release date and we have some time before that happens

Hi, so i am french and bought the witcher during Xmas on steam(super sale there) at the moment i am at the medium of the game.The witcher 2 is coming, i would like to buy collector edition but have a fear.Indeed,many editors sell collector and then they make what i would call "backstab dlc or add-ons) and then you have to pay again and months after that you learn there is supoer edition less expansive with all the additionnal content.So is it intersting to buy collector?I am afraid of seeing in two months an add-on or dlc.

Doubt it will happen. Mainly cause CD RED is a small developer and they take it one step at a time.After all this is the developer which let you download the EE for free and allowed us player to get a 1.5 patch which even excluded the use of your cd whenever you play.It won't come a better CE in the future or anything like that, and even if a DLC would occur it would take maybe 4 months or so before even being released after the actual game. (Since they will most likely wait and patch it the first two months the game is out and then after that think about the future)

No one knows for sure what the future holds, but the collector's editions of the first Witcher game had content that was never released in any subsequent packages.
