Man, that's not how it works, this is what we get, don't mind the beta name.
lol? So the users feedback that they say that there are problems in those drivers AMD does not fix?I think it's time to change NVIDIA.Man, that's not how it works, this is what we get, don't mind the beta name.
I'm afraid you are not understanding. They fix stuff with newer drivers, just like Nvidia. Literally the only difference is the beta on the name.lol? So the users feedback that they say that there are problems in those drivers AMD does not fix?I think it's time to change NVIDIA.
I understood what you said, I'm just saying if AMD is working with CD Projekt for these problems of stuttering / freeze etc ..., and if they will give new drivers "Drivers 15.5.1" (example) with fixes these problems and no release after months...I'm afraid you are not understanding. They fix stuff with newer drivers, just like Nvidia. Literally the only difference is the beta on the name.
I think me too the next card i pick is NVIDIA, im tired AMD drivers always problems, NVIDIA 1 day = give the drivers official the witcher 3 and no problems....I really like this card, it's given me alot of joy. But now is the time to upgrade to something more widely supported. Nvidia here I come.
stop being a troll, Nvidia had day 1 driver which caused more problems for the game, if you have looked anywhere on this forum you would see everyone had to revert to way old drivers just so the game wouldn't crash.I think me too the next card i pick is NVIDIA, im tired AMD drivers always problems, NVIDIA 1 day = give the drivers official the witcher 3 and no problems....
No problems? A huge majority of the posts on this forum were nVidia users complaining about problems like crashing randomly outside of combat every 5 minutes, not to mention all the people with Kepler cards like 780s performing worse than 960s.I think me too the next card i pick is NVIDIA, im tired AMD drivers always problems, NVIDIA 1 day = give the drivers official the witcher 3 and no problems....
Not yet really. We know its coming and its posted in the aware issues section.Any news on an official solution?
I've played 2 hours past the "Wandering in the Dark" quest and had numerous fights with wolves, ghouls, soldiers etc and I have yet to see another crash. There's still some kind of hiccup or maybe it's just slow motion when you deliver the final blow to an opponent, but that is far more manageable than what we had before. Anyway, I'm glad it worked for you. However, I don't know where are the raging 12 year olds that we're whining the other day threatening to go Green Team. Have you asked for other money from your parents to go get the 970? Better that way, the'll just go crying in the 970 thread then.I have tested those 4 dll files and so far it seems to be working. A much easier fix. Thanks for the info.
Thanks, testing nowGood morning. A friend just sent me a link to this modding site. It has 4 dll's extracted from the drivers of r9 300 series/windows 10, I'm not very sure. The installation is very simple, you just need to copy the 4 dlls to the \Games\Witcher 3 The Wild Hunt\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\x64. The autor of this post claims that he has a FPS increase between 5-10 fps in some areas.
Personally, having the problem with "Wandering in the Dark" crash, I tested the files right away and to my surprise I was able to kill the last ice hound without CTD. If the rest of you would be so kind to test so I know it was not just a fluke from my side.
***I am currently on 15.5 beta drivers. This method doesn't require installing a modded driver or messing with your BIOS settings so by far it would be the most welcomed. Please test, and post here. Thank you
This problem does not affect your card. That's strange guys, i have one R9 280 and I have no problem, to be honest i just noticed that i have a problem where my PC would shut down, didn't need to be doing something specefic, after i've downloaded the beta drivers from AMD website, i have no problem with the game =D
