I agree but I doubt that'll happen. At least we have timed ripostes and kicks now. I also agree the animations in the last video are flawless and I loved the ground kill Geralt made. That's gonna feel gratifying every damn time.

I hope that those awesome executions / Finishing moves will be also possible to do on human enemies too!

Its extremely likely, no somewhat-intelligent game studio would create an animation that could work for many enemies, and use it only on one kind.

Especially that one we saw, its very simple, straightforward, independent, it doesn't require any special situation or enemy shape, perhaps you cant use it on giant things like a Griffin, but a dude? for sure !!!

I'm interested to see what fighting other monsters looks like. There was some info about monsters having unique attacks and using the environment against you. For example the ice giant can make stalactites fall down on you when u are in a cave, the leshen can trap you with underground roots etc. I would like to see more of that stuff in action on Monday. Not too much though. I want to experience those fights for myself.

I prefer the zoomed out camera! This is what CDPR was talking about when they said they fixed that aspect of the gameplay where you couldn't see enemies from behind you and you'd get back stabbed for 200% damage and it would feel cheap. Now you have no excuses lol. They'll probs zoom in when you're walking around like in VGX trailer.

Yeah I hope so! There is already a badass dismemberment system but these finishing moves are just amazing too.

Yeah. I'm loving the zoom out. I like to see more of the area.

Mordor has a big problem with this where the player is zoom in too much where you can't see your enemy most of the time.

And I'm glad they kept the roll. Just as long as it is limited.

I like the close up camera, it's more realistic. But for big groups of enemies the camera should be zoomed out to have all enemies onscreen and when it's just 2-3 guys it should get closer.

They have really good cloth and hair physics.

in the new footage, I want to know why that red dot pops up on screen after Geralt does a dodge roll from that flying monster. What is that red dot, it seems a little strange ?

Oh, you're right, I hadn't noticed that. The awful youtube compression make it hard to make out, but it kinda looks like a Red Shield. Maybe Geralt is vulnerable after big rolls?

you can see it better if you click the youtube video settings quality to 720p, just click on that little gear icon on the bottem right side of the video. What is it ???!!! lol..;)

Red dot indicates that Geralt has been poisoned. Ekhidna hit Geralt with her tail, it must be poisoned I guess.

The game is a lot like a rhythm game. Therefor you should sing this to yourself while playing like I do.
