Combat Sound Effects Don't Make Sense
Remember in the e3 2014 demo or the 35 minute demo? The sound effects of swords slicing at enemies were meaty, visceral, and intense.
Now...the effects are short, choppy, weirdly echo-y and also incredibly metallic. Even on enemies with no armor, and on animals and monsters.
The biggest mind-F is that the proper sound effects occur when attacking NOONWRAITHS with swords..and they are basically freaking ghosts XD.
The sound effects are also decent when you sever an enemy.
Obviously there are different sound effects for different weapons and different enemies. Sword attacks on rock trolls are..rocky.
But these metallic, lackluster sound effects on swords for nearly everything else is just..it is bothering me.
Is it possible for people to go into the code and replace the sound effects for sword attacks on enemies with the sword attacks on noon wraiths?
I mean..I could be wrong but I don't think that is what swords are supposed to sound like when cutting through flesh. Unless bones in the witcher universe are made of stainless steel.
If I didn't love this game so passionately I probably wouldn't be nitpicking like this
