I just noticed a comet in the sky above Vergen (Iorveth's path). Never noticed it in my first play through... any story or backdrop to the comet? Do so folk regard it as an omen?
If you side with Roche, you'll find out in Chapter 2 while completing the quest to lift Sabrina's curse from Henselt that the comet is one of the omens of this curse coming to life, along with square coins and some other stuff.
