Hmm...send me that "crashing" scripts and write everything what you're doing before the crash and after run djinni. We must talk about this problemGutemine said:it´s absolute understandable that endrek defends d´jinni-baby and vaernus the 40 pcs of his team.so there is no need to justify.but fact is, that it´s getting more and more silent in all d´jinni-threads. and i don´t think it´s because they are all busy modding in d´jinni.but back to my problem being unable to save neverwinter night scripts without crashing d´jinni.today i followed all the above mentioned suggestions. i uninstalled game, patch and d´jinni, used the registry cleaning tool, deleted all d´jinni files in the registry by hand, used the defrag tool and reinstalled everything. --> same problem. i can´t save a .nss file without crash.allthough i´m in a weak position being the only one having this problem, maybe you could meditate on this . thank you !

thank you very much for your offer.the present situation is, that i installed game, patch and d´jinni on my notebook yesterday, and there everything works fine. ;Dso i don´t think it makes sense to send you any scripts.the crashsituation was as follows:- i wrote or loaded and changed a script and when i tried to save it either to module or to data, d´jinni crashed.- then i closed d´jinni with strg, alt, del, reopened, and answered the restore question with "yes".- now i had all files in the module double. when i deleted one of the double entries, the entry left couldn´t be opened again. (spawnpoints, scripts, etc.)- that´s why after restoring i saved the module, closed and reopend it again. the double entries were gone, and even the changed script was being saved.so far so good, that was my nerve-wracking workaround.endrek said:Hmm...send me that "crashing" scripts and write everything what you're doing before the crash and after run djinni. Thanks!Gutemine said:the best is to save the module after restore, then close the module and reopen it. then the the double entries are gone.
I get this, and several others do, as well."Error on closing: cannot close, must close due to unspecified error"Now, this does make me smile in its syntax. Ranks up there with:"Unaccounted I/O error (mouse), click cancel to ignore""General Keyboard Error: not found, press any key to continue""Connection terminated unexpectedly, error submitting connection termination report online, press any key to re-submit"... stuff like thatSTGhost said:Most of the time when I close down Djinni successfully it will give an error message regardless, saying that it encountered an unspecified error. It doesn't seem to corrupt anything though.I'm on WinXP SP3 btw.
