Try changing your Resolution setting under Options -> Video OptionsAnd then set it back to the size you normally use.

I haven't found that topic yet. However, when I start the Djinni and have sub-directories in the directory override the editor is going in idle mode as soon as 67,1 MB Private Bytes having been reached. If I remove that entire diretory then the editor starts up within seconds and it is allocating 426,7MB private bytes. So I am wondering if that directory should not be used while working with the editor? Thanks in advance for any help or recommendations!Hans Trapp

For me Djinni is totally unusable since it crashes all the time after 5-15 min of running. And it doesn't matter what you do there. You just need to open and close few things and it will crash for sure. Also it crashes every time without a question if I choose "Edit Area" -> "Walkmeshes only".The game itself works like a charm without crashing unless I play > 3 hours in a row. It's a shame that the editor is so badly bugged that making your own adventures is close to impossible. I have Vista Ultimate Windows.

Hm, I do not want to be mean. But reporting bugs or asking questions might be allowed. However, questions are seeking for answers I won't say that they need to be answered within 24 hours, but a hint like... " we look into it" should be the least. Eventually the CM want to get out the max of a great game....

Is this with 1.4? I agree that prior to 1.4 D'Jinni stability was dreadful, but it's now greatly improved. The other thing is, if you're still using Vista, isn't it about time you upgraded to XP? ;D

1) Yes, it's 1.4.2) I cannot use XP because my hardware doesn't have drivers for XP because of the Microsoft political reasons.

Hi everyone,I am in a great distress. I tried everything I guess and Djinni is not running on my notebook. I installed the newest patch and lang. versions, so it cant be the issue. I changed the location of Djonni files several times. Once it even loaded, just to gie me the following error message: can't load languages2 file, something like that. I run the game on Vista.Could anybody help me out?Sonero

i had that problem .. you need a skybox and a properly placed one.what i finally did (not that it explains anything at all! -- but it works) was to check out the exact coordinates of the skybox used in chapter IV of the game (village_4.mod, renamed to village_4.adv and loaded into djinni)once i used those, all my errors went away ... i also used their coordiates for wp_special_near_0, wp_special_near_1, wp_special_far_0 and wp_special_far_1 :) -- you'll need those for maps to work if you did not already knowedit shout out to Ralf1731 for giving me that idea

did you place a skybox placeable in the area in your module and give it the coordinates ? and if so, which model did you use ? i used skaybox_l17 (and this not not a typo, it's really spelled skay, not sky)the other possibility is that you've set your view options not to show you the sky ... (View, Unhide all instances) ... or Render, Ambient, Medium Ambient ?edit have you read this?

Hi guys,I have a very strange problem - my editor crashes everytime I try to compile (or save) an .nss script. Everything was just OK a few days ago, and I can't figure what may be the cause? Do you have any ideas? I don't want to re-install all this stuff again...

H'mmmm....I have a horrible feeling you're going to have to. However, give us more detail. Does anything at all appear in the log before D'Jinni crashes? Are you on Vista? Is your Witcher installation patched up to 1.4? Does this occur on every single NSS script you compile, or only on some?
