Completely stuck in Novigrad

I love this game but I think I might have stumbled upon a bug. I am in the second area after the Griffin and I found a big city. I think it is Novigrad, its the city with Hattori in it. Behind some door I saw a merchant and I managed to get in there, but I cannot get out! I have run around for hours I cannot find a way out! The only obvious way is a door I cannot interact with, guarded by a guard I cannot interact with. HELP!
