Concerning the Xbox version.

Wouldn't it be easy to cap at 30 fps?Too much stuttering/framepacing, it's really bad :(

I hope these issues get ironed out with future patches

I don't know if it's as simple as that, but hopefully it is. Can't play like this.

If it was easy, don't you think they would have done so already?

It's probably not that easy no. But what i don't understand it...according to analysis videos it's well above 30fps, so that's better than even Dragon Age. Why not make it similar to Dragon age though without this stuttering?

Perhaps they should have just kept it at 900p 30fps. I hear the dynamic scaling only stays at 1080p at launch screen.

What does this frame pacing look like?
I've played around 4 hours on XB1 and don't think I've seen it yet.

You won't be able to unsee it.

Just look at any motion on the screen and any time. Try moving the camera or Geralt in a smooth motion.

Ok, I'll have a look and do some moving about.
I'll post a video if I still can't see it.

i am playing on the ps4 version and the framerate drops were during camera moving after installing the first ps4 patch (1.01) i feel like playing with 60 fps... don't know why no more framerate drops, maybe if particle or smoke accurs but i barely notice anything in my opinion the game even looks like the 35min gameplay demo but i play the game because of the story and the world the only real issues i have are minor 1. a region in weißgarten (prologue area) had two or more places where the water doesn't looked right to the ground and if you move the camera up you can see there is no water but only a line of water... but if geralt walks to that there are water effects 2. several clipping problems but i don't really have any problem with that because the story is so great and you can't possibly diminish all clipping in such a vast game 3. pop ups but very very small , i barely noticed any 99,99999999 percent the games plays smooth
