Configuration Tool not working

Hi,

Well, after like 4 days (my internet is very slow) The Witcher 2 finally finished downloading. I started the launcher, then I clicked options to change the game text language, and I get a "The Witcher 2 Configuration Tool Has Stopped Working" Error, just like that, the game starts just fine, the launcher too. It's just the configuration tool. I tried to start it trough configurator.exe, didn't work. Tried to start it as administrator, didn't work neither. I deleted the configurator.exe and checked the game cache integrity (I'm using steam version), didn't work. I'm using Win7 Ultimate 64 bits.

What size is the configurator exe ? The one I have from Steam is 2,444 KB . Have you also tried running Steam as admin ?

Mine It's the same size as yours: 2,444 kb. And yes, also tried with Steam as admin.

Can`t guarantee anything but try running the registry checker .

When running the checker you`ll eventually get to a select file path . Make sure it`s like the attached pic in that there are no entries after Witcher 2

Nope, stills the same. I don't think it's a registry issue, 'cause it crashes just before it does anything.
