Confusion about Mister Blue Eyes ending

+
What is all about?
I mean I have beaten base game 7 or 8 times probably, but replayed last mission probably dozens of times in all its variations with Arasaka loyalist being my headcanon.
Recently I finished Phantom Liberty.
Will remain polite and just pretend it does not exist.

What is the point of Mr.Blue Eye endings?
There are 2 paths where it happens.
The Rogue Path and Soloing Arasaka.
Sorry not very good with Tarrot card ending names.

Made it as a teaser trailer for allegedly confirmed Cyberpunk 2?
Or were there canned plans for Crystal Palace gameplay to be covered via Phantom Liberty post main game?
I mean you can even murder the guy by Cyberpsychoses the guards in some room in PL through camera lol while choosing the Lying Bird path with V neglecting to mention that to her later on lol .
My favorite part of the DLC that imo should never have been made though I do admit several Mr. Hands Quests make him my fave fixer.

Or was there a plan for Crystal Palace expansion?

Not looking for a mega discussion.
I am sure it was already answered somewhere, but looking for the exact answer could take a lot of time since I am not interested in lorebased conspiracy teories , but the developers intentions.

Thank you

Hard to be 100% sure unless someone at CDPR give us the answer...

From what we know, a second expansion which was canceled since, would likely have took place in space (on the moon if I remenber. Which is also tied to Song Bird, Mr Blue Eyes in Phantom Liberty). So it's possible it would have been related to the Sun ending (or Don't Fear The Reaper). The only problem with this (for me), it would have force players into one ending to have access to the expansion. Above all, when this ending is not directly available (You have to complete some side quests to unlock it).

It's also very possible the Sun ending was intentionally left open. V who is already a legend and will became a legend among the legends by tempting an incredibly risky heist at the Crystal Palace (something no one ever tried or thought it was even possible) in pursuite of a "possible" cure.

Hey.

I don't know about the Rogue path, that must be when V takes Johnny's offer to assault Arasaka tower with Rogue's help. I recognize the secret ending when you go to Arasaka tower, shut down the place (with some help), bust Adam Smasher, and make Mikoshi the history.

The point of doing that is self-explanatory, especially if V is an ex-corpo. It's what happens when corpos make an employee disgruntled enough to take down the whole business. :ROFLMAO: Jkjk.

So, to the part with Mr. Blue Eyes, the idea is that V gets one last shot at continuing to live, and it seems to depend on the mission they are launching at the Crystal Palace, with the Mr. Blue Eyes as the middle person client who tasks V to do so with the promise to give V what they need.

In my understanding, there is no plan to add an expansion with the Crystal Palace assault. It is just one of the endings, and the rest of the story is left to the player to write. In my version of things, V succeeds, and as a bonus rams the Crystal Palace back into the Earth, ejecting in an AV shortly before the impact time. Fast forward, V is waking up in an Adam Smasher-like body, and continues to roam NC. Remembering. Being a top merc grade and a menace.

perhaps it will be in CP2 though I am unsure what I think of V.
While playing obviously I hope for a cure, but V is a criminal.
Potentioally mass murderer unless you stealth missions or use a non leathal weapons.
So I am unsure if V even deserves a true cure.
Secure Your Soul might be most appropriate reward/self imposed punishment.

Nah, things V does are normalized in NC.

Being hunted by Arasaka, the police and the rest of the gangs is what counts toward street rep, not a crime per se.

Mr. Blue Eyes wouldn't care about V's crimes, his faction(s?) is actively manipulating and brainwashing politicians to prepare Night City for whatever's going to happen in the future, and they removed Arasaka from the direct threat pool when they learned he thought about nuking Night City.

V's only weakness in the game is Top-Tier Netrunners (Like Songbird and whoever calls him before meeting Jefferson.) and his imminent Death by Soulkiller, it's why it's logical for anyone to want him in their team.

It's both a risk and a benefit, a risk because V tend to check everything about his employers. And a benefit because nobody on Earth or in Space can physically defeat him.

Mr. Blue Eyes might not care , but I as a player am unsure that V deserves long happy life.
Wanted to be a living legend by stealing and killing for money.
I am unsure if the actual V survives in Arasaka ending or is it an engram.
Doctor mentions engram operation if V decides to be curious , but it might mean engram removal, meaning Johnny.

I thought part of Phantom Liberty is on Crystal Palace post main game and that there is an ending where V destroys the world with Blackwall.
Ah well .

If developers said nothing about Mister Blue Eyes and Crystal Palace mission , then that is unfortunate .

Yeah, if V is dying in the first place, it's because V tried to rob (or at least agreed to participate) the most powerful and evilish corporation in the world. Which is the worst idea ever when you think about it. And so, that V deserve his/her fate.
You can also say that at least, unlike everyone else involved in the heist, V survived a bit longer.

Matter of opinion I guess...
If V decide to return on earth, well no debate it's clear. But if V decide to be "stored" in Mikoshi as engram, some could argue that yes, V survive because V's engram is still V. But other would argue that no, it's no longer V (Alt vs Johnny/Saburo opinion).

No they didn't and I don't expect anything, except "maybe" in the next Cyberpunk game. We will have to wait until its release to "maybe" get some answers :)

It is above and beyond worst idea ever in case of Corpo V. Corpo V was not a waitress in an Arasaka hotel, but counter inteligence.
New exactly what they are capable off.
Experienced first hand infact .

CDPR never confirmed any planned Crystal Palace expansion or cut content.
Mr. Blue Eyes was made to stay **mysterious**, hinting at powerful forces beyond Night City.
His “endings” aren’t teasers for Phantom Liberty 2 — just story hooks showing V might keep working for hidden clients.
Developers said they **kept things vague on purpose** so every player’s ending still feels valid.

Having played Cyberpunk many times, I never had any doubt that both Blue Eyes and Night Corp were evil. Perhaps even Evil. Arguments: 1) Events in Night City. No one ever understoodfor what specifical purpose it had been created. But it is obvious that Blue Eyes' modus operandi is secrecy and violence. Why does the city play with its victims, why B.E. using bunraku tricks and staging of its own death? A truly kind and wise ruler would act either openly or, like River Ward, for example, by taking justice into their own hands. 2) The story with the Perales couple and the Carpe Noctem project, despite all the efforts of the community, remains shrouded in mystery (Sandra Dorset, as a high-ranking FIA spy, should not be trusted completely), but in any case, it looks incredibly suspicious. 3) His actions, including in the story of So Mi's escape, frankly look like the actions of the head of a totalitarian sect and the leader of an intelligence and sabotage network rolled into one.
Therefore, I strongly doubt that flying to the Crystal Palace will bring V anything good.
