Consequences and quest tie-ins are amazing!

Yeah I just wanted to write that I'm absolutely impressed with how many things are connected, you kill guy X and sometime later guy Y may call you on that and try to take revenge, you're nice to guy X and the Y may also be nice and not give you trouble when you wanna go somewhere. Best part, you don't know when the consequences will hit, it may happen in main quest, sidequest, or simply when exploring.

It's impressive to see consequences even between random peasants, I saw a woman scolding husband for trying to posion the dog, sometime later I visited the village and the dog was lying dead beneath the woman. Or you see a guy in need you help him, he thanks you ... and later on you stumble upon him again, was it a smart decision to help him? Or maybe it was better leaving him for dead?

And there's soooo many more, simply amazing, to have a game so filled with decisions that have consequences which you can check in some time or which can catch up to you, makes the world feel more believable. I'm afraid to think how many hours were put to details like that.

This game is a masterpiece beacause of that and many more things (e.g nice wound system that isn't only dismemberment).

I couldn't agree with you more, the immense amount of immersion and how alive everything feels is just breathtaking. Just by soaking in the atmosphere and taking your time with the world you can really see the changes that take place and the effects of your decisions. The Witcher has always been brilliant at this, but this is on a whole new scale for sure.

Everything about this games world is just a sheer feat of gaming. I agree with you 100% and this game is a testament to simply how amazing CDPR are as devs.

I hope other people can also appreciate those details (tho many do, I've been reading neogaf and reddit lately - that kind of made me write this topic also here) I mean crafting such a world and then adding so many tie-ins... the amount of work must've been staggering.

Agree. yesterday I was so sad about something happening, and it was the result of a decision I had made long ago It was not even directly related, but one thing led to another.... And they even explained the flow of events that led there with a small cinematic.

Also, I had to make a choice about something different in a talk sequence, so I saved to chose one I liked.... and the answer in all 3 options was something like: Ok, I understand...

So, you can't see the results directly, but it is having an impact later on for sure. Bastards :p

I think I know what you're talking about :D

But that's exactly what I mean, simply genius, I hope they'll do something similar with future Witcher games and Cyberpunk.

I love that. It's so enticing and it makes me think twice about many decisions. I am double guessing myself often. Did the creature I spare come back to haunt me? Is the lesser evil ever a good choice? Sometimes the tougher decision made will lead to a better outcome down the line, more often than not, the opposite (slightly better choice will have unforeseen, bad consequences). Love that.

i agree, the decisions are really important and have big consequences, i like the fact that it's hard to know if a cnsequence is going to have good or bad consequences, i've made terrible decisions so far, everything is changing badly, and i'm not far in the main story, decisions affect not only characters and player, but also entire villages and cities, it's awesome
