So, I have seen enough people who are in the camp that this game was put on the chopping table for a long time, some very basic features which you expect from an 8th generation gaming title be it in the category of RPG or Open World were missing.

These had to be decisions and hard ones, beta testers would have told them this game, this city, this main character (outside of story quests) feels empty and yet they proceeded to release the game, I am more than certain that last few delays were caused because of this, they had to clutter up the map so it seems like you have ton of shit to do, most of it is copy paste anyways.

Here comes the conspiracy part, they delayed the game enough so that new consoles get released and people could play on those, keeping the game barely playable on last gen, so that the conversation will be eventually about how they "fixed" this game, which will take away the pressure away and then they could slowly give us the things they promised as that the earlier praise will buy them time.

But this time around "major updates" won't be free, they now have stockholders!

Would love to hear from like-minded people.

Dont be naive, this game will not be "fixed" - core will remain the same and this is pretty much it, they will just add some missions and some "features" but game will remain empty.
