Constant crashing - gtx 970 and AMD FX8350

So pretty this game crashes every 10 minutes. I've managed to get to novigrad but it's completely killed ay excitement I had for this game. It's a broken mess and I am considering refunding if possible because it is a defective product, plain and simple.

What seems to be happening is my CPU gets unbelievably hot, making my entire room really, really hot. Like, it's reaching 90+ degrees Celcius.

Anything I can do now? I have tried everything in the sticky thread at the top. Even running on low, it keeps crashing. I don't know what the fuck is wrong with this game. Runs TW2 and lords of the fallen maxed out at 60fps, runs crysis 3 maxed at around 40-50 fps no problem, runs other performance intensive games just fine. But this game? I a broken mess.

Please help.

My only solution was to put the game back on the shelf. Tried every fix, made my own, rollbacks and new installs, etc etc. While I wait for them to provide a proper patch, I have a ton of other intensive games to choose from, and they don't crash (complete seizure of my machine on any settings, any driver, any fix - usually right when the Loading circle finishes and I am dropped into the game - boom! Hard reboot time).

"What seems to be happening is my CPU gets unbelievably hot, making my entire room really, really hot. Like, it's reaching 90+ degrees Celcius."

You want a refund because your PC is broken. When running Crysis3 or some other game check your CPU again, there is no way that TW3 get your CPU at 90 degrees but not Crysis...
Meaning of which you have a hardware problem, if your CPU is using the stock sinkfan you're doomed. Or .. if you have better cooling check if it is right on the CPU itself. This temp will definitely kill your CPU soon. I have similar spec with gtx970 and FX8320 with push/pull sinkfan OC to 4.4ghz having no problems at all.

Since the beginning I HAVE NO CRASHES NONE ... nada... niente... So the crashes are not from the game but rather from the software installed like Antivirus programs, maleware real time protectors, gpu drivers, audio drivers, over heating and most of all your OS if you have win8 change it to win7.

Why are reputable companies allowed to release broken products and get away with it?

I am using the fan the CPU came with... why is that the problem, and not with other games?

Dude it is not a broken game. Like I said if you have 90 degrees on your CPU it is a hardware problem. Not the game

90°C = 10 min gameplay = overheating = Protection turn on in the BIOS to shut down your PC = conflicting with gaames and can't turn off PC for safety precautions = get crashes.

Fix your CPU temp = smooth gameplay!

Just give us a screenshot of your CPU temp when playing tw3 and crysis 3 to compare

BUT 90° C ... your CPU is doomed. Stock fan with CPU are just incapable to preserve stable working CPU TEM a simple fact.
