Yeah, by all means I get where you're coming from. Plain and simple it's just a preference.
Hope that answers your question =)

Like all personal preferences, it's respectable.

However, if you were to follow through on that personal preference of yours you might be inclined to pick some other action RPG, might you not? It's as though you're choosing to buy oranges yet complain the lot tastes of orange.

Maybe, but as a big fan of the books and the characters, hell its my favourite series, I am inclined to play the games. And I'm not complaining about the content. In truth, I'd be more than happy with a mod to remove it, happier in fact to leave CDPR to focus on the more important elements of the game.

Really Jester. The first thing you want to filter is the nudity? WTF man. Are you gay? I mean the only reason i bought this game cuz pegi told me that there was nudity and strong sexual content. Best parts of the game is the banging bits. Trust me man a horny 13 y/o kid sees much more than what's in this game. If a kid is jacking of to this game then I think kudos to CDPR. If violence doesn't bother you then why did you say that YOU would really appreciate a "reduced violence" option or a "blood & gore on/off switch". If it doesn't bother you then why need it. My opinion man is just take it in the bum

Turning off blood is really fucking stupid. What about when Auckes was on that operating table in the Kaedweni camp? What about Roche cutting off Dethmolds dick? How would that make sense without blood?

If anything CDPR should tone things up with some bowels spilling out of people and all that, maybe have them crawl away and plead for help or curse you after you mortally wounded them and you can deliver a finishing blow.

Right now things are actually pretty tame.

The more important elements of the game for who? you, a player or CDPR the creators?

I mean, I Love Diablo series, but I haven't bought D3 just because I don't like DRM. If somebody don't like gore, violence, nudities or sex don't buy TW's. The market has extensive supply of games for every taste. No need to maiming a product with an Author Right Licence.

PS
I rarely use mods, but when I do it I usually only use mods that complement or enhance a game, preserving the original idea, never that eliminate or censor it.

Really people just need to read the ESRB(and international equivalents) rating before buying. Oh blood and gore? Sexual situations? Nudity? Don't like it? Don't buy it.

It would also help if parents stopped buying mature games for their children.

But it's too difficult for them my friend... and I just love to see when someone is buying CoD for his/hers 8 years old kid.

Nah, dude, they add realism to the game. Have you ever seen an artery get cut, you'll get to if work as an EMT, or if you visit a farm/slaughterhouse, and it looks just as "flashy". If you're talking about Geralt's "fancy moves" as he does so, that's erroneous- he never does anything out of the ordinary while the camera is showing said finishers, all his moves are normal combat moves. They only look "wow inducing" because of the special focus.

You can see for yourself

Also, if they can be disabled, what's the fuss?

I don't know how you play this game on consoles . Kills more than half of the immersion . Try this:

Censorship is a filter that blocks out elements of the real world , it has no place in a game boasting of being realistic.

I agree that killing and dying should be as gore as possible. It should never be light. Just because it does not happen on our doorsteps doesn't mean we should be ok with it.
And about sex: yeah, we're all virgins. Aha.

So, "content filtering in TW3?"

Ok you're not willing to input any argument... I don't see what one could argue anyway.

Moderator: Personal criticism is out of order. What the OP is "willing" to do or not is no point of argument that these forums will allow.
