I can get the Spanish wiki going on Gamepedia, but you must realize that it's a LOT of work translating thousands of pages. Are you up for it ? If you're sure, just say the word and i'll get it doneWell, if needed, I'm here to help with the spanish wiki! WTF with spanish people? where are they?
>_<
I need some help.
Just writing an article about Midinváerne (Midwinter, winter solstice, beginning of Yule) for official wiki. In Polish "Babtism of Fire" I have found this sentence:
It was from the fragment when the Rats were passing through some village or town - one of villagers compared dressed up Mistle to choinka for Yule.- Ta obsmyczona to Mistle... - usłyszał Tuzik. - Obwieszona błyskotkami, iście niby choinka na Yule...
Page 46 (Polish version)
Polish term "choinka" means Christmas Tree in English, but... there is no Christianity in The Witcher universe, so I can't use "Christmas Tree" form in article. So how it was translated in the official translation?
Here is the official English translation: " Two girls, riding side by side and holding hands, brought up the rear of the procession. The taller of the two, riding a bay, had her hair shorn as though recovering from the typhus, her jacket was unbuttoned, her lacy blouse gleamed white beneath it, and her necklace, bracelets and earrings flashed brightly. Some help needed.
Time to replace the old image then... I'm on my way.![]()
Oh yes... this calendar is so good
Editing the wiki is not easy task... developers themselves, as indicated by their name, have to develop games, not write and contribute thousands of articles. It's a job for volunteers - everyone who has noticed a mistake or understatement can edit it.I would prefer it if the developers themselves create their own version on this website for everyone to see. The wiki's tend to be ambiguous and often incomplete.
