This resolution is not that bad. Better than anything i found with google image search :D
@Gamewidow will ask Marcin for some, in different languages.

And: I created a group " Cursed Witcher Gamepedians" here in the forum, for Admins, bureaucrats and dedicated editors of the new witcher related wikis (interlanguage) to meet, discuss or maybe make chat dates for editorial meetings etc.

Thanks a lot, @SMiki55, for your translation work, and @Gamewidow for the re-read :hatsoff:
Now Novigrad can become the "featured article" of week 10 (next week; all of 2014 see » here)

This week we feature Novigrad. I think, Smiki55 did a really good job to add all the infos from the PnP-Game to the article, translated the history and a lot of other stuff for this amazing town. I'm so looking forward to explore it in TW3. :look:

Next week there will be probably Geralt's hansa. Any other suggestions or wishes? ;)

I can get the Spanish wiki going on Gamepedia, but you must realize that it's a LOT of work translating thousands of pages. Are you up for it ? If you're sure, just say the word and i'll get it done

Some help needed.

I need some help.
Just writing an article about Midinváerne (Midwinter, winter solstice, beginning of Yule) for official wiki. In Polish "Babtism of Fire" I have found this sentence:
- Ta obsmyczona to Mistle... - usłyszał Tuzik. - Obwieszona błyskotkami, iście niby choinka na Yule...

Page 46 (Polish version)

It was from the fragment when the Rats were passing through some village or town - one of villagers compared dressed up Mistle to choinka for Yule.

Polish term "choinka" means Christmas Tree in English, but... there is no Christianity in The Witcher universe, so I can't use "Christmas Tree" form in article. So how it was translated in the official translation?

Here is the official English translation: " Two girls, riding side by side and holding hands, brought up the rear of the procession. The taller of the two, riding a bay, had her hair shorn as though recovering from the typhus, her jacket was unbuttoned, her lacy blouse gleamed white beneath it, and her necklace, bracelets and earrings flashed brightly.
'That shaven-headed one is Mistle...'someone near Tuzik said. 'Dripping with trinkets, just like a Yule tree.'
"

- Official English translation by David French, 'Baptism of Fire' pg. 41

I hope this helped you out SMiki55!

Ok, so I've written about Birke fest; wherein it should be rather treated as fan article - description of celebrations is (in the absence of sources...) heavily inspired by various traditions connected with vernal equinox originating from our world. Since Andrzej Sapkowski himself taked by the handful from real traditions (Yule tree is unless the most recognizable example, but also a lot of influences from Celtic, Slavic and Germanic traditions), I think festivities described in an article do not differ too much from Nordlingen tradition.

Stands to reason, info about Prophet Lebioda and closing ceremony of the novitiate comes from sources, it is not fan fiction.

I would prefer it if the developers themselves create their own version on this website for everyone to see. The wiki's tend to be ambiguous and often incomplete.

Editing the wiki is not easy task... developers themselves, as indicated by their name, have to develop games, not write and contribute thousands of articles. It's a job for volunteers - everyone who has noticed a mistake or understatement can edit it.

I added an article about A Night to Remember which deserves it because it's such a good standalone story (it's a sad story, but great story writing). Enjoy.

Sorry folks, I'll probably have to avoid the Wiki for a while to prevent major spoilers (since I won't be able to play TW3 until the unknown time of Linux release). I hope it won't be for too long ;D

I noticed there is also finnish wiki but it lacks a lot of stuff. So if there's someone with someone with free time and knowledge of language winkwinknudgenudge :) I tried but I lack some writing and editing skills. :D
