As far as I know, your lifepath will not give you unique abilities. Just dialogue options and possibly some quests.
Also, I don't think the Corporate path has anything to do with detectives. That'd be more fitting for a Cop lifepath, but sadly, that has not been included so far.

It would be very cool to have some cop abilities of some kind in the game. Perhaps in DLC as a new role?

You cant compare Witcher to Cyberpunk. Cyberpunk Cops are more like thugs. They use intimidate, fear and stuff like criminals does.

From what Ive read, Trauma Corp is much more significant than Cops are. Sounds to me that Cops arent exactly nice in Cyberpunk World. And Trauma only cares about your body parts.
We just gotta see CDPR's visiion, they might put own spin on things.

They are really bad cops what Im getting, of course CDPR might go for "good cops" instead, but it wouldnt be Cyberpunk if asked from me. Or maybe they mix good and bad ones.

What kind of abilities you want? It seems they are almost like cannon-fodder, unless you're working for a corp.
