Corrupt source file during EE installation (NOT pack0.dzip)

I own a boxed copy of the PC version from ages ago and tried to update to the EE via the launcher. During patch installation problems started with the seemingly common pack0.dzip file corruption. I did what was suggested and replaced pack 1-3 with manually downloaded options. Installer got further before same error happens. In the end I've redownloaded everything manually, but now I've got new error messages claiming source file corruption for C:\Program Files(*86)\The Witcher 2\CookedPC\movies\1_rivia_mem.usm. If I choose to ignore it I get similar messages for lots of files after that, primarily .usm files.
I'm on Win 7 64-bit, I've tried disabling firewalls and antivirus software, reinstalled the game etc. etc. Keep getting same message. And I've got a cap of 50gigs, so I can't really try downloading the GOG backup version after everything I have already downloaded.
Anyone?...

Got the same problem, was just about to post a topic myself. Just like you I downloaded the whole patch manually, and running on a win7 64bit. Tried reinstalling the whole game and repatching to 1.35, didn't work. Here's my error:

An error occured while trying to copy a file: The source file is corrupted The file seems to be CookedPC\movies\final3a_temeria_divided_red_kaed.usm

Yeah. If I choose to Ignore the error when it happens for 1_rivia_mem.usm then same thing happens for final3a_temeria_divided_red_kaed.usm. Really frustrating

i guess you have more bin files corrupted, i wouldn't ignore those errors. I think there's a post with md5s of each bin file to check which ones you have corrupted

Indeed Neonism, I downloaded all the .bins manually yesterday though, how could they be corrupted? Going to try it anyway, this game is worth the trouble.

there's always another way. The gog version already has the patch applied so you could download the whole game there... but of course the dl will be bigger than dling only the patch

Redownloading the specific .bin that caused the error didn't work... ugh..

All the files except the voice packs (TW2EE_Patch.exe and TW2EE_Patch1.bin through Patch35) were updated about 16 hours ago (between 15:30 and 16:15 UTC on the 19th). If you have any kind of mix of older and current files, the patch won't succeed.

Or you can just install the GOG edition, and add the voice packs manually.

seems files got changed in the manual site so i think the safest way is to download the game from 0 through gog downloader. That or check md5s for every file using http://en.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?/topic/29103-md5-and-sha1-checksums-for-tw2ee/

I think I was actually downloading while they were updated so that is terrible news. If I download the GOG I'll have around 800kb/s... going to take ages... but that will defintely work?

I also have a copy of the game and I am about to run out all of my remaining patience. I had the program installed with all of its patches then came the EE. First I downloaded with auto downloader it failed with the pack0.dzip.
Then I read that I should download the files manually. All right I recently started to download them (yesterday evening and today in the morning) I have downloaded them all one by one.
Still the problem is in place, not installing, I have re-installed the game, so far even the launcer fails to start..
I don't know what to do from now on.
